Declaring Land in Otago Mining District, Otago Land District, open for Disposal on Renewable Lease.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section one hundred and fifty-four of the Land Act, 1924, it is enacted that the Governor-General, by Proclamation, may from time to time declare any lands within any mining district to be open for disposal as provided in section one hundred and fifty-three of the said Act:
Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-fifty-fourth section of the said Act, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be open on Tuesday, the twenty-seventh day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, for disposal as provided in section one hundred and fifty-three of the said Act.
SCHEDULE.
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.--OTAGO MINING DISTRICT.--SECOND-CLASS LAND.
-Vincent County.--Leaning Rock Survey District. SECTIONS 104, 105, 111, and Lot 1 of 106, Block VIII, Leaning Rock Survey District: Area, 245 acres 3 roods 20 perches. Capital value, £750. Half-yearly rent, £15. Weighted with £1,670 for improvements.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 22nd day of September, 1931.

Land set apart as Portion of the National Endowment.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by subsection nine of section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the date hereof the parcels of land described in the First Schedule hereto, being land which intersects or is adjacent to the national-endowment land described in the Second Schedule hereto, shall be deemed to be added to the said endowment.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
ALLOTMENT 156, Parish of Ruatangata: Area, 5 acres 3 roods 33 perches. Also Allotment 157, Parish of Ruatangata: Area, 38 perches.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
And that area in the North Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 756 acres 3 roods 5·6 perches, more or less, being portion of an area of 770 acres of national-endowment land in Block VI, Purua Survey District, set apart as such by section 258 of the Land Act, 1908. Also all that area in the North Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 21·7 perches, more or less, being Allotment 149, Parish of Ruatangata, set apart as national endowment by Proclamation published in the New Zealand Gazette of 29th August, 1929, page 2174. Also all those areas in the North Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 roods 32 perches, more or less, being Allotments 152 and 153, Parish of Ruatangata, set apart as national endowment by Proclamation published in New Zealand Gazette of 21st August, 1930, page 2637.
As the same are delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/1629L, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 21st day of September, 1931.

National-endowment Land set apart as a Permanent State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921-22, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the national-endowment land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.
SCHEDULE.
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.--AUCKLAND FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.
Part of State Forest No. 21.
ALL that area of national-endowment land in the North Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 101 acres 2 roods 35 perches, more or less, and being Section 40, Block XII, Opuawhanga Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 9/7, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (S.O. plan 26331.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 21st day of September, 1931.

Settlement Land in Canterbury Land District proclaimed to be Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section forty-nine of the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, it is enacted that the Governor-General may by Proclamation declare any lands acquired under that Act to be, inter alia, ordinary Crown lands available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924:
And whereas it is deemed expedient that the land described in the Schedule hereto, and which was acquired under the Land for Settlements Act, 1908, shall cease to be settlement land and become ordinary Crown land for disposal under the Land Act, 1924:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities so conferred upon me by the aforesaid section forty-nine, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the date of the gazetting hereof the land described in the Schedule hereto, which was acquired under the Land for Settlements Act, 1908, shall be Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 100 acres 2 roods, more or less, and being Reserve Number 4254 (formerly part Section IA of Four Peaks Settlement), situated in Block XV, Four Peaks Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north-west and north generally by other part of Section IA, Four Peaks Settlement, 1070·5, 3922·4, 701·2, 727·1, 501·6, and 381·0 links; towards the east by Reserve Number 3883, 1337·7 links; towards the south-east and south generally by the south branch of the Hae Hae te Moana River; and again towards the south-west by Leisman's Road, 1200·0 links. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 4/17, deposited under No. 2514, in Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington; and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of September, 1931.
