at the borough boundary at a point opposite the western boundary of Subdivision 14A of the Orangitirohia Block, and proceeding thence in an easterly direction generally, adjoining or passing through the said Subdivision 14A and terminating at its junction with the Frasertown Road at a point opposite the eastern boundary of the said Subdivision 14A, being a distance of 19 chains, more or less.
Also all that portion of street in the said land district and borough, known as Kaimoana Street, commencing at the borough boundary at a point opposite the western boundary of Subdivision 13C of the Orangitirohia Block, and proceeding thence in an easterly direction generally, adjoining or passing through the said Subdivision 13C and Subdivisions 13B and 13A, a right-of-way, and Section 3 of the said Orangitirohia Block, and terminating at its junction with the Frasertown Road at a point opposite the eastern boundary of the said Section 3, being a distance of 20 chains, more or less.
Also all that street in the said land district and borough commencing at its junction with the Frasertown Road at a point opposite the western boundary of Lot 7, D.P. 3780, and proceeding thence in an easterly direction generally, adjoining or passing through the said Lot 7 and Lot 43, D.P. 1583, and terminating at its junction with Second Street at a point opposite the eastern boundary of the said Lot 43, being a distance of 13 chains, more or less.
As the said portions of streets are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 80633, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red and marked B-C, E-F, and G-H respectively.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become Government roads.

Defining the Limits within which the Stewart Island County Council may exercise the Powers of a Harbour Board.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 13th day of January, 1931.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE E. A. RANSOM, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the thirty-first day of August, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-three, and published in the Gazette of the seventh day of September following, at page 1325, it was declared that the Council of the County of Stewart Island (hereinafter called “the Council”) shall exercise the powers of a Harbour Board within the estuaries or arms of the sea called Half-moon Bay and Horse-shoe Bay respectively, and the limits of the said estuaries or arms of the sea were therein defined:
And whereas the Council has requested that it may be declared that it shall also exercise the powers of a Harbour Board within those arms of the sea called Port William and Paterson Inlet, and it is expedient to redefine the limits of those estuaries or arms of the sea within which the Council is to exercise the powers aforesaid:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by section eleven of the Harbours Act, 1923, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that, from and after the first day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, the Council shall exercise all the powers of a Harbour Board within those arms of the sea called Port William and Paterson Inlet:
And in further pursuance and exercise of the hereinbefore-recited power and authority, and with the advice and consent as aforesaid, His Excellency doth hereby define the limits of all those estuaries and arms of the sea within which the Council is to exercise the powers aforesaid to be as follows, that is to say: All that area covered by the sea and by the tidal waters of the same contained within a right line drawn in a direction 020° from the eastern extremity of Bradshaw Peninsula to the south-eastern extremity of Passage Island; thence in a direction 336° to the north-eastern extremity of Fish Rock; thence in a direction 294° to the northern extremity of the peninsula known as West Head at the northern side of Port William. As the said area is shown and delineated inside red lines on plan marked M.D. 6893, and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington.
