  1. HOLIDAY EXCURSION TICKETS.

By omitting from the fourth line in paragraph 2 “25 miles” and substituting “10 miles.”
By omitting from paragraph 5 (schedule of holiday excursion fares) the fares applicable to the distances 15–20 miles and inserting the following:—

By omitting from paragraph 2 “8–12 miles—first, 2s. 11d.; second, 1s. 11d.,” and substituting “11–12 miles—first class, 2s. 11d.; second class, 1s. 11d.”

  1. DAY EXCURSION TICKETS.

By omitting from the first line in paragraph 1 “6 miles,” and substituting “9 miles.”
By omitting from paragraph 2 “6–12 miles—first, 2s. 3d.; second, 1s. 6d.,” and substituting “9–12 miles—first class, 2s. 3d.; second class, 1s. 6d.”

  1. FAMILY ORDINARY AND EXCURSION TICKETS.

By omitting the whole of this regulation and substituting the following:—

  1. FAMILY EXCURSION TICKETS.

  2. Second-class family return tickets at three times the holiday excursion fare may be issued to parents and their children travelling together. Minimum charge as for 20 miles. The children must be under 16 years of age, and be accompanied by at least one of their parents. The number of children in any family who may travel on one ticket is unlimited. The names of the parents or parent and children must be declared at the time of booking, and only the persons whose names are so declared may travel on the ticket.

  3. These tickets will be available for the period specified for holiday excursion tickets issuable at the same time, and must be obtained not less than fifteen minutes before the due time of departure of the train by which they are to be used.

  4. TRIP BEARER TICKETS.

By omitting this regulation.
And substituting the following:—

  1. TRIP BEARER TICKETS.

  2. Trip bearer tickets, first or second class, will be issued at the charge for six return fares (holiday excursion or suburban, as the case may be) less 10 per cent. and will be available for twelve single journeys.

  3. Trip bearer tickets will be transferable, and will be available for three calendar months; they will not be issued for distances exceeding 25 miles, and will not be available for break of journey.

  4. Trip bearer tickets will only be sold for the use of persons residing in the neighbourhood of one of the terminal stations shown on the ticket.

  5. One or two children over three but not exceeding twelve years of age, travelling on these tickets will count as one adult; three or four such children will count as two adults, and so on, each additional one or two children counting as one adult. The age limit will be the same in each case.

  6. SPORTING AND PLEASURE PARTIES.

By cancelling paragraphs 1, 2, and 4, of this regulation and substituting the following:—

  1. Second-class single tickets (Regulation 2) or second-class holiday excursion tickets (Regulation 5), available for first-class carriages, may be issued to athletic teams, golf, rowing, and rifle clubs, and pleasure parties of not less than six adult passengers travelling together.
  2. Second-class single tickets (Regulation 2) or second-class holiday excursion tickets (Regulation 5) may be issued at three-fourths the appropriate second-class fare to athletic teams, golf, rowing, and rifle clubs, and pleasure parties of not less than six adult passengers travelling together.
  3. Tickets issued under the provisions of this regulation will have the same availability as ordinary tickets (Regulation 2) or holiday excursion tickets (Regulation 5), as the case may be. The minimum charge per passenger will be 2s.
