Notice to Mariners No. 37 of 1931.

NEW ZEALAND.—SOUTH ISLAND.—BLUFF HARBOUR.

No. 1 Red Beacon : Alteration in Light.

Position : 167°, 1½ cables (approx.) from front beacon on Tewaewae Point.

Abridged Description : Fl. ev. 1½ sec., (U).

Alteration : On 1st October the fixed white light at present exhibited from the above beacon will be altered to flashing white every one and a half seconds, thus : Flash, 0·5 secs.; eclipse, 1·0 sec.

Remarks : The above light and the flashing white light on Channel Rocks beacon are in line, bearing 283°, and lead about 390 ft. clear of Tewaewae Rocks.

Vessels using the north channel should keep these lights in line until across the line of the first pair of white leading lights (in line 021°) when a course can be steered to round No. 1 beacon.

Halswell Point Beacon : Alteration in Colour.

Position : Halswell Point. Lat. 41° 17′ S., long. 174° 50′ E. (approx.).

Alteration : The colour of the above beacon has been altered from white, to white and black chequers.

Chart affected : 1423.

Incorporated Societies Act, 1908.—Declaration by the Assistant Registrar dissolving a Society.

I, GEORGE HUME SEDDON, Assistant Registrar of Incorporated Societies, do hereby declare that, as it has been made to appear to me that the Young Women’s Christian Association of Poverty Bay (Incorporated) is no longer in operation, the aforesaid society is hereby dissolved in pursuance of section 28 of the Incorporated Societies Act, 1908.
