Lands proclaimed as ceasing to be set apart as National-endowment Lands.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section three hundred and two of the Land Act, 1924, as amended by section ten of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1926, it is enacted that on the disposal of any national-endowment land by way of sale, or on the acquisition of the fee-simple of any such land, the Governor-General may by Proclamation declare that such land shall, as from a date to be specified in the Proclamation, cease to be national-endowment land :
And whereas the fee-simple of the lands described in the Schedule hereto (being lands heretofore held under the tenures specified in the said Schedule) has been acquired, and it is expedient that the said lands should cease to be national-endowment lands :
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the aforesaid section three hundred and two of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the dates specified in the Schedule hereto the lands described in the said Schedule which were set apart as national-endowment lands under the provisions of section two hundred and fifty-eight of the Land Act, 1908, ceased to be national-endowment lands.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—NATIONAL-ENDOWMENT LAND.
ALLOTMENT 238, Apata Parish : Area, 18 acres. Tenure : Not previously held on any tenure. Date : 27th May, 1931.
Section 28, Block XIII, Tuhua Survey District : Area, 10 acres 3 roods 9 perches. Tenure : Not previously held on any tenure. Date : 17th September, 1930.
Part Section 1, Block V, Piako Survey District : Area, 100 acres 3 roods 14 perches. (S.O. plan 25698). Tenure : Not previously held on any tenure. Date : 1st April, 1931.
Allotments 59 and 60 and part of Allotments 55, 56, 57, and 58, Karamu Parish : Area, 289 acres 0 roods 23·4 perches. Tenure : Not previously held on any tenure. Date : 13th April, 1931.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 11th day of September, 1931.

Land set apart as an Addition to a Township Reserve.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section nine of section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the date hereof the land comprised in the piece of closed road described in the First Schedule hereto, being an area intersecting the reserve for township purposes described in the Second Schedule hereto, shall be deemed to be added to the said reserve.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 roods 13 perches, more or less, situated in Block XV, Stonyhurst Survey District, and being part of the road closed by Proclamation dated the 17th day of July, 1931, and published in the Gazette of the 23rd day of that month : Bounded towards the north-east by part of Reserve Number 159, 1152·65 links ; towards the south-east by a public road, 161·4 links ; and again towards the south-west by part of Reserve Number 159, 415·5 links, and by a public road, 330·9 and 288·8 links. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/908B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 294 acres 0 roods 26 perches, being part of Reserve Number 159, Block XV, Stonyhurst Survey District, and being part of the said reserve permanently set aside for township purposes by notice published in the Canterbury Provincial Gazette of the 17th day of February, 1866. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/908C, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 11th day of September, 1931.
