the said district in accordance with the provisions in that
behalf of the Hawke's Bay Rivers Board Act, 1919, and to be
of the respective amounts following :—
On all rateable property within No. 1 Ward : One-fourteenth
(1/14th) of a penny for every pound (£) of unimproved
value.
On all rateable property within No. 2 Ward : One-ninth
(1/9th) of a penny for every pound (£) of capital value.
On all rateable property within No. 3 Ward : One-ninth
(1/9th) of a penny for every pound (£) of capital value.
On all rateable property within No. 4 Ward : One twenty-
fifth (1/25th) of a penny for every pound (£) of capital
value.
On all rateable property within No. 5 Ward : One-fiftieth
(1/50th) of a penny for every pound (£) of unimproved
value.
And such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate
during the currency of such loan, and to be payable yearly on
the first day of August in each and every year during the
currency of such loan, being a period of thirty (30) years from
the date on which interest first commences to accrue on any
portion of the loan-moneys, or until the loan and interest is
fully paid off.

CASTLEPOINT COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the Castle-
point County Council hereby resolves as follows :—
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments of
principal and interest and other charges on a loan of four
hundred pounds (£400), authorized to be raised by the Castle-
point County Council under the above-mentioned Act for
the purpose of making additions, alterations, and improve-
ments to the Clerk's cottage at Tinui, the said Castlepoint
County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one
one-hundred-and-twentieth of a penny (1/120d.) in the pound
upon all rateable property within the Castlepoint County,
comprising the whole of the County of Castlepoint, and that
such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day
of April in each year and every year during the currency of
such loan, being for a period of twenty years, or until the
loan is fully paid off.

TUTTY AND McGRATH, LIMITED.
IN LIQUIDATION.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter
of TUTTY AND McGRATH, LIMITED (in Liquidation).
BY an order made by His Honour Mr. Justice Kennedy in
the above matter, dated the fourteenth day of August,
one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, on the petition
of the above-named company, it was ordered that the company
be wound up by this Court under the provisions of the Com-
panies Act, 1908.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
NOTICE is hereby given that at a special general meeting
of the above company held on 17th August, 1931, the
following extraordinary resolutions were passed :—

"That it is proved to the satisfaction of the company
that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities,
continue its business, and that it be wound up
voluntarily." -
"That Mr. GEORGE FEATHERSTONE, of Invercargill,
Public Accountant, be appointed Liquidator."

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
NOTICE is hereby given that, in accordance with sec-
tion 168, subsection (6), of the Companies Act, 1908,
the following resolution was passed on the 14th day of August,
1931 :-
" Whereas it has been proved to the satisfaction of the
company that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities,
continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the
same, that the company be wound up voluntarily, and that

NAPIER BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE AS SECURITY FOR
SPECIAL LOAN OF £29,000.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in this
behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, and of all
other powers (if any) it enabling, the Napier Borough Council
hereby resolves as follows :-
That, for the purpose of providing the moneys required to
repay a special loan of £29,000, and pay the interest upon so
much thereof as shall for the time being remain unpaid, at
the rate of 54 per centum per annum, which loan was autho-
rized to be raised by the said Council by a poll of ratepayers
taken on the 17th day of December, 1930, for the purpose of-
Erecting a building on that portion of the Market Reserve
Block, being portion of Napier Town Section 603, bounded
as follows : On the north-east by Hastings Street,
125 links ; on the north-west by Tennyson Street,
189·85 links ; on the south-west by Market Street on its
proposed new line, being 10 ft. from its present line,
125 links ; and on the south-east by other part of said
Town Section 603, 189·85 links : be the said several
admeasurements more or less, Such building to contain
shops, offices, and business premises-
the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of nine
twenty-fifths (9/25ths) of a penny in the pound (£) upon all
rateable property (on the basis of the unimproved value)
within the Borough of Napier, and that such special rate
shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such
loan, and be payable yearly on the 14th day of August in
each year during the currency of such loan, being a period
of twenty-eight and one-half years, or until the loan and
interest is fully paid off.

WANGANUI CITY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the
Wanganui City Council hereby resolves as follows :-
That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking
fund, and other charges on a loan of £54,570, authorized to
be raised by the Wanganui City Council under the Local
Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, for the purpose (together with
accrued sinking funds) of paying off-
(a) The following special loans falling due on the eighth
day of September, 1931, namely:-
(1) A special loan of £10,000 raised by the Gonville
Town Board in the year 1913 for the purpose of
general improvements, drainage, and water exten-
sion in the Gonville Town District, acquiring land
for streets and recreation-grounds, providing public
baths and public halls, a fire-brigade station, and
street improvements.
(2) A special loan of £1,000 raised by the Gonville Town
Board in the year 1911 for the completion of the
purposes for which the said special loan of £10,000
hereinbefore mentioned was raised.
