AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

Purewa Stream Bridge Loan, £12,000.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the
Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the Local Government Loans
Board Act, 1926, the Local Legislation Act, 1927, and of
all other powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City
Council doth hereby resolve as follows :-

That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges
on a loan of twelve thousand pounds (£12,000), authorized
to be raised by the Auckland City Council under the above-
mentioned Acts, for the purpose of meeting its portion of the
cost of erecting the Orakei (Purewa Stream) Bridge, the said
Auckland City Council doth hereby make and levy a special
rate of one-twelfth (1/12) of one penny in the pound upon the
rateable value of all rateable property, comprising the whole
of the City of Auckland, and that such special rate be an
annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and
be payable yearly on the first day of June in each and every
year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty
(30) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

STADIUMS (N.Z.) LIMITED.

IN LIQUIDATION.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the
matter of STADIUMS (N.Z.) LIMITED (in Liquidation).

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named
company, held on the 26th June, 1931, the following
extraordinary resolution was duly passed :-

“ That is is proved to its satisfaction that it cannot, by
reason of its liabilities, continue in business, and that it be
wound up voluntarily under the provisions of the Companies
Act, 1908, and that JOHN BARLOW GILMORE, of Auckland,
Public Accountant, be and the same is hereby appointed
Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.”

All creditors of the above-named company are requested
on or before the 20th day of August, to send full particulars
of their claims to the Liquidator at his address, Bank of
New Zealand Chambers, Swanson Street, Auckland.

CASHWORTHS, LIMITED.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and its amend-
ments, and in the matter of CASHWORTHS LIMITED, a
company incorporated under the Companies Act, 1908,
and having its office in the City of Palmerston North
(being in Voluntary Liquidation).

THE creditors of the above-named company are required,
on or before the 15th day of September, 1931, to send
their names and addresses and the particulars of their debts
or claims to RUPERT YEOMAN COLLINS, of the City of Well-
ton, Public Accountant, the Liquidator of the said company,
and if so required by notice in writing from the said Liquidator
to come in and prove their said debts or claims at the office
of the said Rupert Yeoman Collins on the fifth floor of the
A.M.P. Buildings, Customhouse Quay, Wellington, at such
time as shall be specified in such notice, or in default thereof
they will be excluded from the benefit of any distribution
made before such debt or claim is proved. The said Liquidator
will hear and adjudicate upon the said debts or claims at
the said office at 11 o'clock in the forenoon on Tuesday, the
22nd day of September, 1931.

TE POPO CO-OPERATIVE DAIRY COMPANY, LIMITED.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general
meeting of the above-named company, held on the
llth day of July, 1931, the following special resolution was
passed, and at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting of

the said company held on the 28th day of July, 1931, the said
resolution was duly confirmed, viz. :-

“ That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that
Mr. THOMAS HARRY PENN, Public Accountant, Stratford, be
and is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such
winding-up at the fee of thirty-five pounds (£35), plus all out-
of-pocket expenses.”

GLEN EDEN TOWN BOARD.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the
Glen Eden Town Board hereby resolves as follows :-

That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking
fund, and other charges on a loan of £350, authorized to be
raised by the Glen Eden Town Board under the above-
mentioned Act, for the purpose of providing the amount
required to pay the Town Board's share of the cost of con-
struction of a bridge (and approaches) over the Whau Creek,
on the Auckland-Helensville Main Highway, as allocated by
Order made by the Governor-General under section 135 of the
Public Works Act, 1928, and dated the 5th day of November,
1930, the said Glen Eden Town Board hereby makes and
levies a special rate of of $\frac{1}{2}$ a penny in the pound upon the
rateable value of all rateable property of the Glen Eden Town
District, and that such special rate shall be an annually
recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be pay-
able yearly on the first day of January, 1932, and in each and
every year during the currency of such loan, being for a
period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

We hereby certify that the above is a true copy of a resolu-
tion passed by the Glen Eden Town Board at a meeting
held on the 27th day of July, 1931.

HUNTLY PICTURES, LTD.

IN LIQUIDATION.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter
of HUNTLY PICTURES, LIMITED (in Liquidation).

NOTICE is hereby given that the above company, by
resolution dated the 13th day of July, 1931, went into
voluntary liquidation, and appointed the undersigned as
Liquidator. All persons, firms, companies, or corporations
having claims against the above-named company are required
to send amounts and full particulars thereof to the under-
signed on or before the 20th day of August, 1931.

held on the 23rd day of July, 1931, the following
resolution was duly passed :-

“ That W. A. Kenning, Limited, be wound up voluntarily,
on the ground that it is proved to its satisfaction that the
company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its
business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same.

“ That the Liquidators be WILLIAM BISS GRIFFIN and
CHARLES BERTRAM HODGSON, of Nelson, Accountants, and
ALBERT EDWARD DAVIES of Nelson, Agent.”

Dated at Nelson, this 4th day of August, 1931.
