Notifying Land in the Gisborne Land District subject to the Land for Settlements Act, 1925.

Department of Lands and Survey,
Wellington, 7th July, 1931.

PURSUANT to the provisions of the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, I hereby notify that the undermentioned land, being the land known as Rere Settlement, which has been acquired under the said Act, is subject to the said Act as from the 26th May, 1931.

SCHEDULE.

GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT.—RERE SETTLEMENT.

ALL that area in the Gisborne Land District, containing by admeasurement 91 acres, more or less, being Lot 1, being part of Okahuatiu No. 1, Block XII, Ngatapa Survey District: Bounded towards the north by a public road by right lines, 3455·3 links; towards the east by part of Okahuatiu No. 1 Block by right lines to the Wharekopae Stream, 5910·5 links; and towards the south-west generally by the left bank of the aforesaid Wharekopae Stream: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

Also all that area, containing by admeasurement 80 acres, more or less, being Lot 2, being part of Okahuatiu Nos. 1 and 2, Block XII, Ngatapa Survey District: Bounded towards the north by part of Okahuatiu No. 1 Block by right lines to and across the Wharekopae Stream, 4749·7 links, and by the right bank of the aforesaid Wharekopae Stream; towards the south-east by a public road by right lines, 4505·9 links; towards the south-west by part of Okahuatiu No. 2 (N.P. 634) by a right line to and across the Wharekopae Stream, 1287·1 links, and by the left bank of the aforesaid Wharekopae Stream: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same are delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 21/312/77, deposited under No. 2500 in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered pink.
