THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.
Vesting the Control of a Scenic Reserve in the Hutt County Council.
BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section thirteen of the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as "the said Act"), His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand doth hereby vest the control of the scenic reserve described in the Schedule hereto (being land reserved under the said Act) in the Hutt County Council, subject to the conditions hereinafter contained, that is to say:-

The period for which the control of the reserve is hereby vested shall be five years from the date hereof, unless the reservation is previously altered or revoked under the said Act.

The said Council shall prepare a report each year ending on the thirty-first day of March, together with a statement of receipts and expenditure in connection with the said reserve. Such report and statement shall be sent to the Minister charged with the administration of the said Act as soon as possible after the close of the year.

The said Council shall control the said reserve in accordance with the provisions of the said Act and of the regulations made thereunder.

SILVERSTREAM SCENIC RESERVE.
PART Section 209, Hutt District, Block IV, Belmont Survey District: Area, 60 acres 3 roods 20 perches.
Also part Sections 269 and 270, Hutt District, Block IV, Belmont Survey District : Area, 104 acres 3 roods 27 perches.

Notifying Lands in Auckland Land District for Sale by Public Auction.
BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.
IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section one hundred and thirty-two of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Friday, the eleventh day of September, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, as the time at which the land described in the First Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction for cash only, and the lands in the Second Schedule for cash or on deferred payments, and I do hereby fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said Schedules hereto.

Financial Instructions and Allowance Regulations for the New Zealand Military Forces amended.-Amendments No. 34.
BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by the Defence Act, 1909, and its amendments, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General, do hereby amend in the manner and to the extent set forth in the Schedule hereto the Financial Instructions and Allowance Regulations for the New Zealand Military Forces published in the New Zealand Gazette dated the sixth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five; and I do hereby declare that the amendment hereby made shall take effect as from the 1st July, 1931.
