Authorizing the Laying-off of a Street in the City of Wellington of a Width of less than 66ft., but not less than 40 ft., subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 27th day of July, 1931.

Present:

His Excellency The Governor-General in Council.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the Wellington City Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street, described in the Schedule hereto, of a width of less than sixty-six feet, but not less than forty feet, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the said street within a distance of thirty-five feet from the centre-line of the said street.

SCHEDULE.

THAT proposed street in the Wellington Land District, City of Wellington, containing by admeasurement 20·36 perches, more or less, and being part Section 10, Ohiro R.D., Block VI, Port Nicholson Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 81656, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue, red, and yellow.

Consenting to Land being taken for the Purposes of a Substation-site, off Moxham Avenue, in the City of Wellington.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the land described in the Schedule hereto being taken for the purposes of a substation-site.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land permitted to be taken: 1·10 perches.

Being portion of Lot 67, D.P. 168, and being part Section 4, Evans Bay R.D.

Situatied in Block VII, Port Nicholson Survey District (City of Wellington). (S.O. 2671.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 82111, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Consenting to additional Land being taken for the Purposes of a Post-office in the Borough of Hastings.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the additional land described in the Schedule hereto being taken for the purposes of a post-office.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land permitted to be taken : 6·6 perches.

Being Lot 5 of part Section 8 (D.P. 1893), being part Here-taunga Block.

Situated in the Borough of Hastings.

In the Hawke's Bay Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 81894, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Delegating Powers under the Cemeteries Act, 1908.-Vincent County Council.-(H.C. 94.)

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 27th day of July, 1931.

Present:

His Excellency The Governor-General in Council.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Cemeteries Act, 1908, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby delegate to the Council of the County of Vincent the powers conferred on him by section four of the Cemeteries Act, 1908, as to the appointment and removal of trustees for the cemetery described in the Schedule hereto, and doth declare that this Order in Council shall take effect as from the first day of August, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one.

MAKARORA PUBLIC CEMETERY.

SECTION 9, Block XII, Wilkin Survey District, Otago Land District: Area, 1 acre, more or less.

Directing Application of Moneys received in respect of the Allanton Domain, Otago Land District, for the Purposes of the Brighton and Maungatua Domains.

His Excellency The Governor-General in Council.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by section sixty-one of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct that from the moneys lying at the thirty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, to the credit of the Allanton Domain (described in the First Schedule hereto) the sum of fifty pounds shall be applied in managing, administering, and improving the Brighton Domain, described in the Second Schedule hereto, and the sum of ten pounds shall be applied in managing, administering, and improving the Maungatua Domain, described in the Third Schedule hereto.

BLOCK XIII, Town of Allanton: Area, 7 acres 0 roods 33 perches.
