Amending a Proclamation setting apart Land as a Permanent State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by a Proclamation dated the twenty-seventh day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the thirtieth day of that month, at page 2820 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Proclamation”), an area containing 1,966 acres, more or less, situated in Purua and Tangihua Survey Districts, North Auckland Land District, was set apart as a permanent State Forest:
And whereas an error was made in the Schedule attached to the said Proclamation, and it is desirable that the error be rectified:
Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section three of the Forest Amendment Act, 1925, do hereby amend the said Proclamation by substituting the Schedule attached hereto for the Schedule attached to the said Proclamation.
SCHEDULE.
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—AUCKLAND FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.
State Forest No. 133.
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 1,966 acres, more or less, being Allotments 153, 154, and 167, Maungatapere Parish, situated in Block XV, Purua Survey District, and Block VI, Tangihua Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the south-east by Allotment 152 of the said parish, a public road, Allotments 104, 105, 107, and 106 of the said parish, and by Crown land; towards the south by Allotments 137 and 136 of the said parish; towards the south-west by the northern portion of Allotment 120 of the said parish; towards the west by State Forest No. 24 (Gazette, 1906, page 1429); towards the north-east by Allotment 63 of the said parish; towards the north-west by Allotments 63, 64, 65, and 70 of the said parish; and towards the north by a public road: save and excepting an intersecting public road. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 11/3, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (North Auckland Survey Office plan No. 20391, blue.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 21st day of July, 1931.

Settlement Land in Gisborne Land District proclaimed to be Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section forty-nine of the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, it is enacted that the Governor-General may by Proclamation declare any lands acquired under that Act to be, inter alia, ordinary Crown lands available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924:
And whereas it is deemed expedient that the land described in the Schedule hereto, and which was acquired under the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, shall cease to be settlement land and become ordinary Crown land for disposal under the Land Act, 1924:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities so conferred upon me by the aforesaid section forty-nine, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the date of the gazetting hereof the land described in the Schedule hereto, which was acquired under the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, shall be Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Gisborne Land District, containing by admeasurement 29 acres 0 roods 26 perches, more or less, being part Waingaromia 1c, Block VII, Waingaromia Survey District: Bounded towards the north by a public road, 6788·1 links; towards the south-east and south by Lot 1 of S.G.R. 45 by right lines, 6474·9 links; and towards the west by Lot 3, Waingaromia 1c Block, D.P. 1696, by right lines, 868·8 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.
Also all that area, containing by admeasurement 10 acres 0 roods 27 perches, more or less, being Lot 1, Pt. Waingaromia 1c, Block VII, Waingaromia Survey District: Bounded towards the north-west by public road, 2921·8 links; towards the north-east by Section 1, D.P. 1104, by right line, 1143·7 links; and towards the south-east by Lot 1 of S.G.R. 45, C.P. 2365, by right line, 2464·9 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same are delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 8/12/10, deposited under No. 2501 in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered pink.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 25th day of July, 1931.
