IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.

NOTICE is hereby given that by special resolution passed on 29th June, 1931, and confirmed on 15th July, 1931, the Otaraia Co-operative Dairy Company, Limited, whose registered office is at Martinborough, resolved as follows:

"That the company be wound up voluntarily under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1908, and that JOHN JOLLY, of Martinborough, Public Accountant, be hereby appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up."

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter of CASHWORTHS LIMITED, a Private Company incorporated under the above Act, and having its registered office at Palmerston North.

NOTICE is hereby given that, on the 19th day of June, 1931, an extraordinary resolution was passed by the above-named company that it be wound up voluntarily, and that the undersigned RUPERT YEOMAN COLLINS, of A.M.P. Building, Wellington, Public Accountant, be appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.

CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SECURITY RATE FOR RELIEF OF UNEMPLOYMENT LOAN £39,500, 1931.

IN pursuance of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Empowering (Relief of Unemployment) Act, 1926, the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, and all other powers (if any), the Christchurch City Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £39,500, authorized to be raised by the Christchurch City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of the forming, widening, reconstructing, and tar-sealing or laying in concerte certain streets within the boundary of the City of Christchurch, as shown on the schedule prepared by the City Engineer, and dated the 1st June, 1931—plantation work at Bottle Lake Reserves, formation of recreation areas, and clearing and levelling an area for cemetery purposes—the said Christchurch City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-hundred-and-ninety-three-thousand-eight-hundred-and-eighty-seven one-million - two - hundred - and - fifty - thousandths (193887/1250000ths) of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the City of Christchurch, comprising the whole of the City of Christchurch, and that such special

rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 14th day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of seven years, or until such loan is fully paid off.

We hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was adopted by the Christchurch City Council at its meeting held on the 13th July, 1931.

FLAX PROPERTIES, LIMITED.

IN LIQUIDATION.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter of FLAX PROPERTIES, LIMITED.

NOTICE is hereby given that the above-named company, on the 15th day of July, 1931, passed the following extraordinay resolutions:

(1) That, whereas it has been proved to the satisfaction of the company that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, that the company be wound up voluntarily.

(2) That ALFRED JOHN GRAHAM, of Auckland, Accountant, be appointed Liquidator.

THE CASHMERE ESTATE CO., LTD.

IN LIQUIDATION.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter of THE CASHMERE ESTATE CO., LTD. (in Liquidation).

NOTICE is hereby given that the following special resolution was duly passed on the 20th day of July, 1931:

"That the Cashmere Estate Co., Ltd., be wound up voluntarily."

And notice is hereby further given that DUNCAN ROBERTSON MENZIES, of Wellington, Public Accountant, was appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.

All persons having claims against the above company are required, on or before the 20th day of August, 1931, to send their names and addresses and particulars of their debts and claims to the said Liquidator at 102 Featherston Street, Wellington; and, if so required by notice in writing from him, are personally or by their solicitors to come in and prove such debts or claims, at such times and places as shall be specified in such notice, or in default thereof they will be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts or claims are proved.
