exchange for the fee-simple of any other land, and on any such
exchange to pay or receive any sum by way of equality of
exchange :
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it
is expedient to exchange the Crown land described in the First
Schedule hereto for the land described in the Second Schedule
hereto, and the owner of the land described in the Second
Schedule has agreed to such exchange :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the aforesaid powers
and authorities, doth hereby declare it is his intention to grant
in fee-simple the area of Crown land described in the First
Schedule hereto in exchange for the fee-simple of the land
described in the Second Schedule.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
DESCRIPTION OF LAND AUTHORIZED TO BE EXCHANGED.
ALL that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing by
admeasurement 2 acres 0 roods 10·9 perches, more or less,
being Section 15, Block XIII, Te Mata Survey District :
Bounded towards the north-east by Ngawhakatatara Block,
1078·5 links ; towards the south-west by Section 4, 925·8
links ; and towards the north-west by the said Section 4,
450·2 links : be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As
the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/3812,
deposited under No. 2499 in the Head Office, Department of
Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
DESCRIPTION OF LAND TO BE OBTAINED IN EXCHANGE
THEREFOR.
ALL that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing by
admeasurement 2 acres 1 rood 26·7 perches, more or less, being
part Ngawhakatatara Block, Block XIII, Te Mata Survey
District : Bounded towards the north-east by part Ngawha-
katatara Block, 868·2 links ; towards the south-east by part
of said Ngawhakatatara Block, 557 links ; towards the south-
west by Section 4, 1019·2 links : be all the aforesaid linkages
more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked
L. and S. 22/3812, deposited under No. 2499 in the Head Office,
Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon
bordered yellow.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, this 17th day of July, 1931.

appointed.

Animals Protection and Game Act, 1921–22, the under-
mentioned person has been appointed a Ranger under and for
the purposes of that Act for the East Coast Acclimatization
District.
