Revoking the Reservation over Portion of a Scenic Reserve in
the North Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
is a reserve duly set apart for scenic purposes:
And whereas the said land is no longer suitable for scenic
purposes by reason of the absence of scenic features thereon:
Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and
exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section eight of
the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1910, do hereby
revoke the reservation for scenic purposes over the land
described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, containing
by admeasurement 278 acres 1 rood 20 perches, more or less,
being part Section 30, Block XII, Mangakahia Survey District,
part of Omiru East No. 2, and parts Sections 4 and 8,
Block XVI, Mangakahia Survey District: Bounded, com-
mencing at the north-eastern corner of the said Section 30,
towards the south-east generally by Section 34, Block XII,
and Section 10, Block XVI, Mangakahia Survey District,
bearing 195° 26' distance 13625 links, 240° 00' distance 2400
links, bearing 180° 00' distance 4000
0 links, bearing 200° 09'
distance 55110 links, bearing 242° 46' distance 43495 links;
towards the south-west by Whatitiri 13r No. 2 Block, bearing
300° 00', distance 1366·5 links; towards the north-west
generally by other parts of aforesaid Sections 4 and 8,
Block XVI, by other part of Omiru East No. 2, and by other
part of aforesaid Section 30, Block XII, bearing 39° 51' 30"

Lands and Survey, Wellington, and thereon edged red. (North

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 21st day of
July, 1931.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted
pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908
(hereinafter referred to as "the said Act"), has recommended
that the land described in the Schedule hereto should be
permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient
to give effect to such recommendation:
Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and
exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, do hereby
proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule
hereto shall be a scenic reserve under the said Act, and
subject to the provisions thereof.

SCHEDULE.
NELSON LAND DISTRICT.
SECTIONS 11, Block VIII, Burnett Survey District, and 13,
12, and 10, Block V, Matakaitaki Survey District, containing
together an area of 884 acres, more or less.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 17th day of
July, 1931.
