Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by the Animals Protection and Game Act, 1921-22, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the period within which opossums may be taken or killed within the Otago Acclimatization District, except in any sanctuary other than a scenic reserve, shall be from noon on the first day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, to noon on the twenty-third day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, and the said Order in Council is hereby amended accordingly; and all licenses issued under the authority of the said Order in Council are hereby extended until noon on the twenty-third day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one.

Authorizing the Exchange of Parts of a Reserve in Alford Survey District, Canterbury Land District, for other Land.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 13th day of July, 1931.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the lands described in the First Schedule hereto form parts of a reserve duly set apart for water-race, plantation, and internal-communication purposes: And whereas it is expedient that the said lands should be exchanged for the lands described in the Second Schedule hereto, which the Governor-General deems of equal value and more suitable for the purposes of the reserve:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section eight of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the lands described in the First Schedule hereto may be exchanged for the lands described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
DESCRIPTION OF PARTS OF RESERVE AUTHORIZED TO BE EXCHANGED.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District containing by admeasurement 18 acres 3 roods 19 perches, more or less, and being part of Reserve Number 3085, situated in Block X, Alford Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north-east generally by a public road, towards the south-east by Chapman’s Creek, towards the south-west generally by Rural Sections Numbers 32883, 32884, 23063, and 32644; and towards the north-west by Rural Section numbered 36521: save and except the intersecting roads and Reserves Numbers 3363, 3364, and 3365.
Also all that area in the Canterbury Land District containing by admeasurement 16 acres 0 roods 21 perches, more or less, and being part of Reserve Number 3085, situated in Blocks X and XI, Alford Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north-east generally by a public road; towards the south-east by a public road; towards the south-west generally by Rural Sections Numbers 32042, 33449, 32226; towards the north-west generally by a stream: save and except the intersecting Reserves Numbers 3366 and 3367.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 28058, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
DESCRIPTION OF LANDS TO BE OBTAINED IN EXCHANGE THEREFOR.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District containing by admeasurement 18 acres 2 roods 34·5 perches, more or less, and being parts of Rural Sections Numbers 15519, 18399, 18400, 18401, 23007, 23010, 23011, 29611, 29612, 29613, 31782, 32227, 32645, 36189, 36190, situated in Blocks VI and X, Alford Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north-east generally by other parts of Rural Sections Numbers 29613, 29612, 29611, 18399, 31782, 18400, 23007, 23011, 23010, 15519, 18401, 32227, 32645, 36189, and 36190; towards the north-east by a public road; towards the south-west generally by a public road and other parts of Rural Sections Numbers 29611, 29612, and 29613; towards the north-west by Crown land: save and except the intersecting roads and rivers.
Also all that area in the Canterbury Land District containing by admeasurement 15 acres 0 roods 12 perches, more or less, and being parts of Rural Sections Numbers 18280, 18993, 33998, 33999, situated in Blocks X and XI, Alford Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north-east generally by other parts of Rural Sections Numbers 33998, 18993, 18280, 33999; towards the south-east by Rural Section Number 22004; towards the south-west generally by a public road; towards the north-west by Reserve Number 1822.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 28058A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the Agricultural and Pastoral Societies Amendment Act, 1912, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby change the name of the association incorporated under the Agricultural and Pastoral Societies Act, 1908, under the style and title of the Hukerenui Agricultural Association, to the Towai Agricultural Association.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms portion of a reserve duly set apart for the purposes of a gravel-pit:
And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for water-race, plantation, and internal-communication purposes:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of the reservation over the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for a gravel-pit to a reserve for water-race, plantation, and internal-communication purposes.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District containing by admeasurement an area of 1 acre 0 roods 10 perches, more or less, and being part of Reserve numbered 1822, situated in Block XI, Alford Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north by the other part of Reserve numbered 1822, 816·4 links; towards the east by Rural Section numbered 33998, 101·5 links; towards the south by a public road, 824·5 links; towards the west by a public road, 160 links. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 28058B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
