Revoking Board of Trade Trading-stamps Regulations, 1931.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 23rd day of June, 1931.
Present:
His Excellency THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authority conferred upon him by section twenty-six of the Board of Trade Act, 1919, as amended by the Board of Trade Amendment Act, 1923, and of every power and authority enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby, on the recommendation of the Minister of Industries and Commerce, revoke, as on and from the date of publication thereof in the Gazette, the Board of Trade Trading-stamps Regulations, 1931.

Opening Land in the Auckland Land District for Sale or Selection.

BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Land Act, 1924, and the amendments thereof, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, having received the report of the Under-Secretary in this behalf, as provided by section one hundred and seventy-six of the said Act, do hereby declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be open for sale or selection on Friday, the twenty-first day of August, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, and also that the land mentioned in the said Schedule may, at the option of the applicant, be purchased for cash or on deferred payments, or be selected on renewable lease; and I do hereby also fix the price at which the said land shall be sold, occupied, or leased as that mentioned in the said Schedule hereto, and do hereby declare that the said land shall be sold, occupied, or leased under and subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1924, and the amendments thereof.

SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—FIRST-CLASS LAND.
Otorohanga County.—Mangaorongo Survey District.
(Lot 2 of 10, Ordinary Crown land. Capital value, £275.)
(Section 24, Native Land Settlement. Capital value, £40.)
Lot 2 of Section 10, Block VII : Area, 96 acres 2 roods 10 perches, and Section 24, Block VII : Area, 14 acres 0 roods 20 perches. Capital value, £315. Deposit on deferred payments, £15; half-yearly instalment on deferred payments, £9 15s. Renewable lease: Half-yearly rent, £6 10s.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 24th day of June, 1931.

SECTION 1, Block XII : Area, 240 acres. Capital value, £240. Deposit on deferred payments, £10; half-yearly instalment on deferred payments, £7 9s. 6d. Renewable lease: Half-yearly rent, £6.
Weighted with £244 7s. for improvements.
SECOND-CLASS LAND.
Tauranga County.—Otanewainuku Survey District.
Section 5, Block VI : Area, 322 acres 2 roods. Capital value, £165. Deposit on deferred payments, £10; half-yearly instalment on deferred payments, £5 0s. 9d. Renewable lease: Half-yearly rent, £3 6s.
Hauraki Plains County.—Waihou Survey District.
Section 56, Block XIII : Area, 109 acres 0 roods 13 perches. Capital value, £160. Deposit on deferred payments, £10; half-yearly instalment on deferred payments, £4 17s. 6d. Renewable lease: Half-yearly rent, £3 4s.
Weighted with £200 for improvements.

Opening Land in Wellington Land District for Sale or Selection.

BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Land Act, 1924, and the amendments thereof, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare and provide as follows, this is to say:—

  1. The rural land enumerated in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for disposal by way of sale or selection on Monday, the twenty-fourth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, at the price specified in the said Schedule, and for the purposes of section one hundred and thirty-three of the Land Act, 1924, the said land shall be deemed to be “light-bush land.”
  2. The said land may be purchased for cash or on deferred payments, or be selected on renewable lease.
  3. After the first half-year’s rent (or the deposit on deferred payments, as the case may be) has been paid by the selector the further instalments of rent (or such parts of the instalments on deferred payments as consist of interest), payable by him for the period specified in the Schedule hereto, shall not be demanded: Provided that if at any time during the first five years of his occupancy the selector disposes of his interest in the land the rent or interest so conceded shall be paid by him in full, and thereupon the Land Board may remit such instalments of rent or interest payable by the incoming tenant, not exceeding in the aggregate the amount previously conceded to the selector, as the Board shall think fit.

SCHEDULE.
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.—SECOND-CLASS LAND.
Kaitieke County.—Kaitieke Survey District.
(Exempt from rent or interest and rates for three years.)
SECTION 9, Block XII : Area, 160 acres. Capital value, £160. Deposit on deferred payments, £10; half-yearly instalment on deferred payments, £4 17s. 6d. Renewable lease: Half-yearly rent, £3 4s.
Weighted with the sum of £55 for improvements.
