DECLARATION OF POLL ON PROPOSAL TO RESCIND SYSTEM OF
RATING ON UNIMPROVED VALUES.

Pursuant to section 44 (2) of the Rating Act, 1925, I
hereby give notice that at a poll of ratepayers of the
Henderson Town District, taken on the 14th day of May,
1931, on the proposal that the system of rating property in
the Henderson Town District on the basis of the unimproved
value thereof be rescinded.

The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 133 ;
the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 224.
I therefore declare that the proposal was rejected.

NOTICE OF LIQUIDATION.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter
of the Liquidation of The Grainger Osteopathic In-
stitute, Limited, a Private Company duly incorporated
under the said Act.

At a special meeting of shareholders of The Grainger
Osteopathic Institute, Limited, held at the regis-
tered office of the company, Power Board Buildings, Queen
Street, Auckland, on Wednesday, the 8th day of April, 1931,
at 2 o’clock p.m., it was resolved that, owing to the company
being unable to pay its debts, the company go into volun-
tary liquidation for the purpose of winding up the affairs
