Notifying Land in the Otago Mining District, Otago Land District, for disposal on Renewable Lease.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section one hundred and fifty-four of the Land Act, 1924, it is enacted that the Governor-General, by Proclamation, may from time to time declare any lands within any mining district to be open for disposal as provided in section one hundred and fifty-three of the said Act:

Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by the said one hundred and fifty-fourth section of the said Act, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be open on Wednesday, the fifteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, for disposal as provided in section one hundred and fifty-three of the said Act.


SCHEDULE.

Maniototo County.โ€”Town of Hyde.

(Within boundaries of Otago Mining District.)

SECTIONS 15, 22, and 23, Block I, and Sections 9, 10, 28, 29, 33, 34, and 35, Block III, each containing 1 rood.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 3rd day of June, 1931.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.


FIRST SCHEDULE.

LAND PROCLAIMED AS A ROAD.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road: 3 acres 1 rood 4 perches.

Being portion of Section 73; coloured red.


SECOND SCHEDULE.

ROAD CLOSED.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of road closed:โ€”

3 1 11 Passing through Section 73; coloured green.

1 0 33 Adjoining Section 2752; coloured green.

All situated in Block IV, Mawheranui Survey District. (Plan 2866.)

All in the Westland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/1920, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2490, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 2nd day of June, 1931.
