NOTICE pursuant to section 307 of the Companies Act, 1908, is hereby given that THE WESTINGHOUSE BRAKE COMPANY OF AUSTRALASIA, LIMITED, intends voluntarily to cease to carry on business in any part of New Zealand.

NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned LESLIE HERBERT PERRY and ERNEST JAMES HOPE, carrying on business as Taxi-proprietors at Dunedin under the style or firm of "Octagon Taxis," has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the date hereof. All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid respectively by the said Leslie Herbert Perry, who will continue to carry on the said business under the style or firm of "Octagon Taxis."

RESOLUTION LEVYING SPECIAL RATE.
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the Waimarino County Council hereby resolves as follows :— That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on the Wanganui-Horopito Highway Loan, 1928, authorized to be raised by the Waimarino County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing the Waimarino County Council's share of the cost of construction of the Wanganui-Horopito Main Highway as authorized by and more fully set forth in a Warrant dated the 19th day of September, 1928, issued under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General under the provisions of section 119 of the Public Works Act, 1908, as amended by section 5 of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1927, and gazetted in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 71, dated the 27th day of September, 1928, page 2894, and pursuant to an Order
