THE MAGNETIC CYLINDER COMPANY, LTD.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and its amendments, and in the matter of THE MAGNETIC CYLINDER COMPANY, LIMITED, having its registered office situated in Dee Street, Invercargill.

NOTICE is hereby given that at a general meeting of the members of the above-named company duly convened and held at Invercargill on the 27th day of April, 1931, the following extraordinary resolution was duly passed:—

“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of the company that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1908, and the amendments thereof.”

And at the same meeting ROBERT JOHN CUMMING, of Invercargill, Public Accountant, and JOHN BERTRAM REID, of Invercargill, Public Accountant, were appointed Joint Liquidators for the purpose of such winding-up.

NOTICE is hereby given that the order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, Canterbury District, dated the 31st day of March, 1931, confirming the reduction of the capital of the above-named company from £24,500 to £19,405, together with the minute approved by the Court, showing with respect to the capital of the company (as altered) the several particulars required by the above statute was registered by the Assistant Registrar of Companies at Christchurch on the 27th day of April, 1931.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter of THE GOLDEN CREVICE SYNDICATE, LIMITED.

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company, duly convened and held at Gore on the 28th day of April, 1931, the following extraordinary resolution was duly passed, viz.:—

“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily, and that THOMAS REWI PRYDE, of Invercargill, Solicitor, be appointed Liquidator for the purposes of the winding-up.”

NOTICE OF CHANGE OF NAME.

I, HILDA SABINE MUELLER, of Auckland, in the Dominion of New Zealand, School-teacher, heretofore called and known by the name of HILDA SABINE PASLEY, hereby give notice that on the 9th day of May, 1931, I renounced and abandoned the use of my said surname of “Pasley” and assumed in lieu thereof the surname of “Mueller”; and, further, that such change of name is evidenced by a deed dated the 9th day of May, 1931, duly executed by me, and attested and enrolled in the office at Auckland of the Supreme Court of New Zealand on the 11th day of May, 1931.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter of the WHANGAREI PICTURES, LIMITED (in Liquidation).

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the members of the above-mentioned company, duly convened and held at the registered office of the company, Bank Street, Whangarei, on Saturday, 9th day of May, 1931, the following extraordinary resolution was duly passed:—

“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily.”

And at the said meeting FRANK LESLIE GUNN, of Whangarei, Public Accountant, and PERCY ARTHUR HERMAN, Company Director, of Wellington, were appointed Liquidators for the purpose of such winding-up.
