IN LIQUIDATION.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter
of FORRESTER LIMITED, in Liquidation.

NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of the above
company, held on the first day of May, 1931, it was
resolved by way of an entry in the minute-book that the
company be wound up voluntarily, and that Mr. WILLIAM
RICHARD KENNER, of 141 Manners Street, Wellington,
Company Director, be and he was thereby appointed
Liquidator.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.

AT a meeting of shareholders of VAN OSSELAER AND
ANDERSON, LIMITED, held at the offices of Messrs.
Brandon, Ward, and Hislop, Wellington, on the 22nd April,
1931, it was specially resolved—

“That Van Osselaer and Anderson, Limited, be wound
up voluntarily, and that P. M. CAMERON, Esq., of Wellington,
Accountant and Auditor, be appointed sole Liquidator.”

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary meeting
of the members of the above-named company, held on
Thursday, the 30th day of April, 1931, the following resolu-
tion was duly passed:—

“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting
that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue
its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and
accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily.”

At the said meeting JOHN GRIERSON, of Auckland, Public
Accountant, was appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such
winding-up.

WAIPA COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and
of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Waipa
County Council hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on the Te Rore Waterworks Supplementary Loan
of £470, 1931, authorized to be raised by the Waipa County
Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of
completing the works—that is to say, constructing water-
works for the supply of water in the Te Rore Special-rating
Area, including all engineering and survey charges and the
cost of land, easements, machinery, plant, materials, and
labour, for which a loan of £4,700 was authorized by poll of
ratepayers on the 21st January, 1930, the said Waipa County
Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one farthing
(¼d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of
unimproved value) of all rateable property of the said Te
Rore Special-rating Area, being more particularly described
in the Schedule at the foot hereof, and that such special rate
shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such
loan, and be payable half-yearly on the first days of February
and August in each and every year during the currency of
such loan, being a period of twenty years from the 1st day of
August, 1931, or until the loan is fully paid off.

THE SCHEDULE.

All that area in the Mangapiko Riding of the Waipa County
bounded by a line commencing at a point on the right bank
of the Waipa River in line with the north-western boundary
of Allotment 5, Parish of Ngaroto; thence to and along that
boundary to the road forming the north-eastern boundary of
the said Allotment 5; thence across that road and south-
easterly along its north-eastern side to the north-western
corner of Allotment 11, Parish of Ngaroto; thence along the
north-western and north-eastern boundaries of Allotment 11
and the north-western boundary of Allotment 14 to the road
forming the north-eastern boundary of the said Allotment 14,
Parish of Ngaroto; thence along the western side of that
road to a public road forming the northern boundary of
Allotment 30; thence across that road and along the eastern
and south-eastern boundaries of Allotment 30 and the north-
eastern boundary of Allotment 35, Parish of Ngaroto, to the
road forming the southern boundary of the said Allotment
35; thence across that road and along its southern side to
the north-eastern corner of Allotment 39; thence along the
eastern boundaries of Allotments 39, 40, and 41, Parish of
Ngaroto, and Lots 1 and 2 on a plan deposited in the Land
Transfer Office at Auckland as No. 23666 to the road forming
the south-western boundary of Allotment 46, Parish of
Ngaroto; thence along the road forming the south-western
and southern boundaries of Allotment 46 aforesaid and the
southern boundary of Allotment 47, Parish of Ngaroto, to
the south-eastern corner of the said Allotment 47; thence
across and along the south-eastern side of the road forming
the north-western boundaries of Allotments 60A and 59,
Parish of Ngaroto, to the north-western corner of the last-
mentioned allotment; thence along the north-eastern bound-
aries of Allotments 59 and 61, Parish of Ngaroto, and the
north-eastern boundary of Allotment 61 to a public road;
thence across that road and south-easterly and south-westerly
along its western side to a point in line with the north-eastern
boundary of Allotment 117, Parish of Mangapiko; thence to
and along that boundary and the eastern boundary of the
said Allotment 117 to its south-eastern corner; thence across
a public road to the stream forming the eastern boundary of
Allotment 106, Parish of Mangapiko; thence down that stream
to the western boundary of Allotment 102, Parish of Manga-
piko; thence northerly along that boundary and along the
boundaries of Sections 89, 88, 87, Parish of Mangapiko, to the
south-western corner of Section 87; thence in production of
the southern boundary of Section 87 to the right bank of the
Waipa River; thence down the said right bank of the Waipa
River to the point of commencement.

A PRIVATE BILL INTITULED THE DOMINION LIFE
ASSURANCE OFFICE OF NEW ZEALAND, LIMITED,
ACT, 1931.

NOTICE is hereby given that application is intended to be
made to the General Assembly of New Zealand at the
ensuing session by THE DOMINION LIFE ASSURANCE OFFICE OF
NEW ZEALAND, LIMITED, for leave to introduce a Private Bill,
the short title of which is as above.

The object of the Bill is to make the said company subject
to the provisions of the Companies Act, 1908, as a limited
liability company as if it were registered with limited liability
thereunder.

Printed copies of the proposed Bill will be deposited in the
Private Bill Office, Parliament Buildings, Wellington, not
later than fourteen days after the commencement of the
session.
