Proclaiming Native Land to have become Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, it is provided, inter alia, that on being satisfied that the purchase of any Native land has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909, the Governor-General may issue a Proclamation that such land has become Crown land:
And whereas the purchase of the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909, and its amendments:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority so conferred upon me by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim that the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has become Crown land.
SCHEDULE.
Te Kuiti 2B lQ 1 Block, Otanake Survey District: Approximate area, 1 acre.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 24th day of April, 1931.

Approval of Incorporated Society under Section 22 of the Administration Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 27th day of April, 1931.

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
WHEREAS it is provided by section twenty-two of the Administration Act, 1908, that the security of any incorporated company or guarantee society approved by the Governor-General in Council may be accepted by the Court as the security required to be given by an administrator or other person appointed to administer an estate under the above-mentioned Act:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the above-recited power and authority, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve, for the purpose aforementioned, of the following incorporated society—namely, The Northern Assurance Company, Limited.

Amending Regulations under the Stock Act, 1908, for the Prevention of the Spread of Ticks (Ixodidae) among Stock.—(Notice No. Ag. 2964.)

At the Government House at Wellington, this 27th day of April, 1931.

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Stock Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby further amend the regulations for the purpose of the eradication and prevention of the spread of tick (Ixodidae) among stock, made under the said Act on the thirteenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, and published in the Gazette on the sixteenth day of the same month at page 470, by deleting from the clause numbered 23 of the said regulations the figure “5,” and sub-
stituting therefor the figure “2”; and doth hereby declare that this Order in Council shall come into force on the date of the publication hereof in the Gazette.

Authorizing the Exchange of Part of a Cemetery Reserve in Block XIV, Woodville Survey District, Hawke’s Bay Land District, for other Land.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 27th day of April, 1931.

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
WHEREAS the land described in the First Schedule hereto forms part of a reserve duly set apart for cemetery purposes: And whereas it is expedient that the said land should be exchanged for the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, which the Governor-General deems of equal value and more suitable for the purposes of the reserve:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section eight of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto may be exchanged for the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
DESCRIPTION OF PART OF RESERVE AUTHORIZED TO BE EXCHANGED.
ALL that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 15 acres 3 roods 4 perches, more or less, being Lot 1, D.P. 5355, part Cemetery Reserve, Block XIV, Woodville Survey District: Bounded towards the north-east by Section 1, Block XIV, Woodville Survey District, 1203·2 links; towards the south-east generally by Section 19, Block XII, Woodville Survey District, Lot 2, D.P. 5355, and Railway Reserve, 654·0, 1213·1, 748·4 links respectively; and towards the north-west by Section 1, Block XIV, Woodville Survey District, 1929·7 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 2/570A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
DESCRIPTION OF LAND TO BE OBTAINED IN EXCHANGE THEREFOR.
ALL that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 7 acres 3 roods 22 perches, more or less, being Lot 3, D.P. 5355, Block XII, Woodville Survey District: Bounded towards the north-west by Railway Reserve, 1799·6 links; towards the north-east by Lot 4, D.P. 5355, 158·0 links; towards the south-east by Lot 4, D.P. 5355 aforesaid, 1587·5 links; and towards the south-west by a public road, 1086·4 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 2/570B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
