BAY OF PLENTY ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD.

RESOLUTION MAKING A SPECIAL RATE PASSED AT A MEETING
OF THE BOARD HELD ON THE 13TH MARCH, 1931.

THE Bay of Plenty Electric-power Board, in pursuance
and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Bay of
Plenty Electric-power Board hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of two thousand pounds (£2,000), author-
ized by a resolution of the Bay of Plenty Electric-power
Board, passed on the 13th day of March, 1931, and an Order
in Council of the 16th day of February, 1931, to be raised
by the Bay of Plenty Electric-power Board under the Local
Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, being a supplementary loan pursuant
to section 19 of the said Act to the loan of twenty thousand
pounds (£20,000), authorized by a poll of ratepayers taken
on the 5th day of December, 1929, for the following pur-
poses:—
Constructing any works for the extension of electric supply
and reticulation within the Power Board’s district in
respect of which works guarantees as described in
class 12 (1) of the Electrical Supply Regulations, 1927,
have first been given in favour of the Power Board for
payments amounting in each of not less than five con-
secutive years from the completion of such works to at
least seventeen and one-half (17½) per cent. of the
estimated capital costs of such works.
The Bay of Plenty Electric-power Board hereby makes and
levies a special rate of 1/32d.) one thirty-second of a penny
in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the
unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Bay of
Plenty Electric-power District, and that such special rate
shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such
loan, and be payable yearly on the 20th day of July in each
and every year during the currency of such loan, being a
period of twenty-six years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.

NOTICE is hereby given that, on the 14th day of April,
1931, the above company passed the following resolu-
tion:—
“That it be proved to the satisfaction of the company that
it cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business,
and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and that the
same be wound up voluntarily, and that a Liquidator is
appointed for the purpose of winding up the affairs of the
company.”

EGMONT COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the
Egmont County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £350, authorized to be raised by the
Egmont County Council under the above-mentioned Act for
forming, draining, culverting, and metalling a portion of the
Mirihau Road, and payment of the cost of acquiring land,
surveying, legalization, and fencing of the said portion of
the Mirihau Road, the Egmont County Council hereby makes
and levies a special rate of eighteen twenty-fifths of one
penny (18/25ths pence) in the pound upon the rateable value
of all rateable property of the Mirihau Road Special-rating
District, as described in the Schedule hereunder, and that
such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day
of April in each and every year during the currency of such
loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is
fully paid off.

MOTUEKA BOROUGH COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the
Motueka Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purposes of providing the interest, sinking
fund, and other charges on a loan termed “Library and
Municipal Offices Supplementary Loan, 1931,” of £150,
authorized to be raised by the Motueka Borough Council
under the above-mentioned Act for the completion of the
erecting of a library, reading-room, municipal offices, rest-
room, and conveniences, the said Motueka Borough Council
hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1/150th part of a
penny in the pound sterling upon the rateable value (on the
basis of the capital value) of all rateable property of and in
the Borough of Motueka, comprising the whole of the Borough
of Motueka as shown on the public map of the Borough of
Motueka, situate in the Motueka Survey District, and that
such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during
the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first
day of May in each and every year during the currency of
such loan, being a period of thirty years, or until the loan is
fully paid off.
The common seal of the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses
of the Borough of Motueka was hereto affixed at the offices
of and in pursuance to a resolution of the Motueka Borough
Council in the presence of—
