Schedule to the principal regulations is revoked and the following substituted :--
“ (a) If used by any person for purposes of pleasure or for private or domestic purposes but not for business purposes :
“Provided that for the purposes of this paragraph ‘business purposes’ does not include the carriage of any person to and from his place of business or the place where he carries on his profession or calling.
4. The paragraph marked (b) contained in the said description of motor-vehicles of Class 4 as set out in Part I of the Second Schedule to the principal regulations is revoked and the following substituted :-
“ (b) If used in person by the owner or owners (being an individual or individuals) for the purpose of making personal calls in relation to his or their profession, business, or calling.”
5. The paragraph marked (c) contained in the said description of motor-vehicles of Class 4 as set out in Part I of the Second Schedule to the principal regulations is revoked and the following substituted :— “(e) If used by the owner being a farmer or by any person on his behalf in connection with the farming operations of the owner.”
6. The paragraph marked (a) contained in Part II of the Second Schedule to the principal regulations is revoked and the following substituted :— “(a) In the interpretation of Part I of this Schedule— “(i) ‘Private motor-car’ means any motor-car (as defined by the Motor-vehicles Act, 1924) not being a public motor-vehicle or a contract motor-vehicle (as hereinafter defined). “(ii) Every term used therein (except the term ‘private motor-car’) which is defined in section 2 of the Motor-vehicles Act, 1924, has the meaning assigned thereto by that Act.”

Declaring Drains in Block Xl, Tokatoka Survey District, to cease to be Government Drains.--
BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 20th day of April, 1931.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by section two hundred and sixty-two of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the drains described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, cease to be Government drains.
SCHEDULE.
Those drains on the north-east and the south-west sides of the road through parts Section 7 and Road Reserve, Block XI, Tokatoka Survey District ; as the said road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 62071, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue, red, and burnt sienna.

Declaring Portions of Roads in Blocks Xl, XII, XV, and XVI, Mahinapua Survey District, to be Government Roads.--

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 20th day of April, 1931.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portions of roads described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become Government roads.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the pieces of roads declared to be Government roads : 78 acres. Adjoining or passing through Reserve No. 146.
Situated in Blocks XI, XII, XV, and XVI, Mahinapua Survey District (Westland R.D.). (S.O. 2890.)
In the Westland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 81485, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Revoking Order in Council licensing George Peters to use and occupy a Part of the Foreshore of Porirua Harbour as a Site for a House and Outbuildings.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 20th day of April, 1931.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the ninth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 62, of the twelfth day of the same month, George Peters, of Porirua (who, with his executors, administrators, and assigns, is hereinafter called “the licensee”), was licensed to use and occupy a part of the foreshore in Porirua Harbour as a site for a house and outbuildings;
And whereas, it is desirable to revoke the hereinbefore-recited Order in Council:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in him by the Harbours Act, 1923, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the hereinbefore-recited Order in Council of the ninth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, as from the thirty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one.

Directing the Sale of Land under the Public Works Act, 1928, in Block III, Waitara Survey District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 20th day of April, 1931.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required for the public work for which it was acquired.
