LAND PROCLAIMED AS ROADS.

In the Otago Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 21/149/323, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2475, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 14th day of April, 1931.

Land set apart as Provisional State Forest declared to be subject to the Land Act, 1924.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section twenty of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Lands, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being part of Provisional State Forest Reserve No. 1692, set apart by Proclamation dated the twenty-ninth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, and gazetted on the eighth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, is required for settlement purposes ; and, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such land shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest, and shall become subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Westland Land District, of approximately 7,000 acres, comprising the bed of the Arawata River, extending from the sea-coast to the south boundary of the Westland Land District, and being part of Provisional State Forest Reserve No. 1692. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 8/7/62, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 21st day of April, 1931.

Land reserved under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as “ the said Act ”), has recommended that the land described in the Schedule hereto should be permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation :

Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be a scenic reserve under the said Act, and subject to the provisions thereof.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 73 acres, more or less, being Sub. 1 of Section 19, Block VIII, Mimi Survey District : Bounded towards

the east generally by Sub. 2 of Section 19, Block VIII, Mimi Survey District, 6020-6 links ; towards the south by Sub. 3 of Section 19 aforesaid, 2744-3 links ; and towards the north-west by Section 18, Block VIII, Mimi Survey District, 6574-8 links : be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/1450/292, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered pink.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 20th day of April, 1931.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in Otama Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road : 1 acre 3 roods 38-5 perches. Being portion of Section 1. Situated in Block XII, Otama Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 25930.) In the Auckland Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 81460, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 20th day of April, 1931.
