NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for winding up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on Wednesday, the 18th day of March, 1931, presented to Sir Alexander Lawrence Herdman, a Judge of the Supreme Court, by Thomas James Kirkup, of 305 Queens Arcade, Auckland, a creditor of the said company, and the said petition is directed to be heard before a Judge of the said Court on the 13th day of April, 1931, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon, and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to oppose the making of any order for the winding-up of the said company under the above Act should appear at the time of hearing, by himself or his counsel, for that purpose, and a copy of the petition will be furnished to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring the same by the undersigned on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of creditors held at the Chamber of Commerce, Swanson Street, Auckland, at 2.30 o'clock p.m., on Monday, the 23rd day of March, 1931, a resolution was passed as follows:
"That Bardsley Bros. assign their estate, and that R. N. S. CHISHOLM be appointed assignee."

TARADALE TOWN BOARD.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
Park Extension Loan, 1931 (£1,250).
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the Taradale Town Board hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,250, known as "Park Extension Loan, 1931," authorized to be raised by the above-mentioned Taradale Town Board under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of the purchase and improvement of land for Park Extension, the land to be purchased being that piece of land (adjacent to the Taradale Recreation Park) containing three acres one rood four perches, more or less, being Section numbered twenty (20) of Suburban Section numbered fifty-four (54), Meeanee District, the said Taradale Town Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of seven thirty-seconds of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Taradale Town District; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore carried on under the name of "Younge and Downes," as Nurserymen and Seedsmen, by GEORGE SHORTLAND YOUNGE, of Hastings, in the Provincial District of Hawke's Bay, and Dominion of New Zealand, Nurseryman, and HERBERT CHARLES DOWNES, of Hastings aforesaid, Seedsman, has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the sixteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one. The said Herbert Charles Downes will continue to carry on business as seedsman and florist under the name of "H. C. Downes," and will pay and discharge all accounts of the late Partnership, and will receive and give effectual receipts for all moneys owing to the late Partnership.

IN accordance with section 223 of the Companies Act, 1908, and amendments, notice is hereby given that at the adjourned extraordinary general meeting of the above-mentioned company, held on the 23rd day of February, 1931, the following resolution was passed, and was confirmed at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting on the 9th day of March, 1931:
"That the company be would up voluntarily, and that HUGH PETER MAGUIRE, Public Accountant, of Auckland, New Zealand, be appointed Liquidator for the purpose of winding up at a fee of 30s. per week."
