RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

Park Extension Loan, 1931 (£1,250).

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the Taradale Town Board hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,250, known as "Park Extension Loan, 1931," authorized to be raised by the above-mentioned Taradale Town Board under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of the purchase and improvement of land for Park Extension, the land to be purchased being that piece of land (adjacent to the Taradale Recreation Park) containing three acres one rood four perches, more or less, being Section numbered twenty (20) of Suburban Section numbered fifty-four (54), Meeanee District, the said Taradale Town Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of seven thirty-seconds of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Taradale Town District; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore carried on under the name of "Younge and Downes," as Nurserymen and Seedsmen, by GEORGE SHORTLAND YOUNGE, of Hastings, in the Provincial District of Hawke's Bay, and Dominion of New Zealand, Nurseryman, and HERBERT CHARLES DOWNES, of Hastings aforesaid, Seedsman, has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the sixteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one.
