At the Government House at Wellington, this 23rd day of March, 1931.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the twentieth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 81, of the twenty-third day of the same month, John Richards and Edwin Davy Richards, of Mangarakau, trading under the style or title of “Richards Bros.” (hereinafter called “the licensees”), were licensed to use and occupy a part of the foreshore at Westhaven as a site for a landing:
And whereas the licensees have applied to have the hereinbefore-recited license revoked, and it is desirable to revoke the same:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by the Harbours Act, 1923, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the hereinbefore-recited Order in Council of the twentieth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, as from the thirty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one.

WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the twenty-fifth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 52, of the twenty-seventh day of the same month, Charles Burrows was licensed to use and occupy a part of the land between high and low water marks of the Wairupe Creek, and to reclaim such land:
And whereas the said license was, with the consent of the Minister of Marine, transferred to William Henry Gundry (who with his executors, administrators, and assigns is hereinafter referred to as “the licensee”):
And whereas the said licensee has applied to have the said license revoked, and it is desirable to revoke the hereinbefore-recited Order in Council.
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in him by the Harbours Act, 1923, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the hereinbefore-recited Order in Council of the twenty-fifth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, as from the thirty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty.

Prohibiting all Alienation of certain Native Land.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 23rd day of March, 1931.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section one hundred and thirty-two of the Native Land Act, 1909, it is provided that for the purpose of enabling any scheme of consolidation of the interests of owners of Native land into suitable areas to be prepared and carried into effect, the Governor-General may, by Order in Council, prohibit for a period not exceeding twelve months any alienation of Native land in respect of which application has been made by the Native Minister to the Court for the preparation of such a scheme:
And whereas an application has been made by the Native Minister to the Native Land Court for the preparation of a scheme of consolidation of the interests of the owners of the blocks mentioned in the Schedule hereto into suitable areas:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority hereinbefore mentioned, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby prohibit for a period of twelve months all alienation of the Native land specified in the Schedule hereto.
