Declaring Portion of Road in Block VIII, Orahiri Survey District, to be a Government Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 23rd day of March, 1931.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a Government road.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road declared to be a Government road : 2 acres 0 roods 16·3 perches.

Adjoining or passing through Pukeroa-Hangatiki 58 No. 1 Block.

Situated in Block VIII, Orahiri Survey District. (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 25266.)

In the Auckland Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 76351, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portions of roads described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become Government roads.

Declaring Roads at Bunnythorpe to be County Roads.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 23rd day of March, 1931.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the roads at Bunnythorpe on the Foxton—New Plymouth Railway, and described in the Schedule hereto, shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become county roads.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that road at Bunnythorpe, in the Oroua County, containing an area of 1 acre 1 rood 28·7 perches, more or less, situated in Township of Mugby Junction, Block III, Kairanga Survey District; also all that road at Bunnythorpe, in the Kairanga County, containing an area of 2 acres 2 roods 14·2 perches, more or less, situated in Township of Bunnythorpe, Blocks III and VII, Kairanga Survey District. In the Wellington Land District ; as the same are more particularly delineated on plan marked L.O. 1308, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways, at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Directing the Sale of Land under the Public Works Act, 1928, in the City of Nelson.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 23rd day of March, 1931.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required for the public work for which it was held.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land directed to be sold : 1 acre 3 roods 39·8 perches.

Being Sections 909 and 1094, City of Nelson (Nelson R.D.). (S.O. 90 t.n.)

In the Nelson Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 81339, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Order in Council amending the Regulations under the Valuation of Land Act, 1925, and the Amendments thereof.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 23rd day of March, 1931.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of all powers and authorities vested in him by the Valuation of Land Act, 1925, and the Valuation of Land Amendment Act, 1927, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend Regulation 21A made on the twenty-fourth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, pursuant to the hereinbefore-mentioned powers, and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the thirtieth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, by adding to the said regulation the following subclause:

(13) In counties where the Counties Act, 1920, is not in force the Governor-General in Council may appoint a person to act as clerk of the local authority for the purpose of carrying out the duties imposed upon the clerk of a local authority by subclauses 1 to 12 of this regulation, and the person so appointed shall carry out such duties accordingly.
