NEW ZEALAND.—SOUTH ISLAND.—WEST COAST.—KAHURANGI POINT.

Normal Character of Light restored and Alteration of Sectors.

Previous Notices: Nos. 37, 42, and 47 of 1929 are hereby cancelled.

Position: Lat. 40° 46′ S. Long. 172° 13′ E. (approx.).

Abridged description: Gp. Fl. [2] W.R. ev. 15 secs. 110 ft. 16 M.

Details: The normal character of the light has been restored—i.e., group-flashing every fifteen seconds, thus: Flash, 0·75 sec.; eclipse, 4·5 sec.; flash, 0·75 sec.; eclipse, 9 sec.

Remarks: The light now shows white from 038° through east to 151°; red, thence to 176°; white, thence to 248°; obscured elsewhere.

Notice to Mariners No. 11 of 1931.

Wellington, N.Z., 17th March, 1931.

NEW ZEALAND.—NORTH ISLAND.—WEST COAST.—NEW PLYMOUTH.

Main Port Light: Intended Alteration in Light.

Date of Alteration: 18th April, 1931.

Position: Lat. 39° 03½′ S. Long. 174° 02½′ E. (approx.).

Abridged description: Occ. ev. 10 sec. 100 ft. 16 M.

Alteration: The fixed red light on Mikotahi will be replaced by a white light occulting every ten seconds, thus: Light, 5 sec.; eclipse, 5 sec.

Remarks: The light will be visible from 061° through east to 241° except where obscured by Sugarloaf Islands.

Charts affected: 2535 with inset, 1212—788.
