A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke so much of the Proclamation, dated the twenty-eighth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 9, of the fifth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, taking land for afforestation purposes in Blocks X, I, V, VI, II, and IX, Gordon Survey District, and Blocks IV and VIII, Tadmor Survey District, as affects the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required.

SCHEDULE.

In the Nelson Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 17th day of March, 1931.

Cancelling the Reservation over a Reserve in Block VIII, Ohura Survey District, Taranaki Land District.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 16th day of March, 1931.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby cancel the reservation as a reserve for papaburning purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the land described in the Schedule hereto being taken for the purposes of a road.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land permitted to be taken: 1 rood 29 perches.

Being portion of part Allotment 164 (School Reserve).

Authorizing the Laying-off of Streets in the Borough of Lower Hutt of Widths of less than 66 ft., but not less than 40 ft. and 50 ft. respectively, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 16th day of March, 1931.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the Lower Hutt Borough Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed streets described in the Schedule hereto of widths of less than sixty-six feet, but not less than forty feet and fifty feet respectively, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the said streets within a distance of thirty-five feet from the centre-lines of the said streets.

SCHEDULE.

THAT proposed street in the Wellington Land District, Borough of Lower Hutt, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 7-14 perches, more or less, being portion of Section 4, Pitt Settlement, Block XIV, Belmont Survey District.
