Additional Land taken for the Wellington - New Plymouth Railway (Wellington - Tawa Flat Deviation), (approximately 5 m. 37 ch. to 5 m. 42 ch.).

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the First Schedule hereto, and the surface, together with the subsoil above a plane twenty feet below and approximately parallel to the present surface, of the land mentioned in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken as additional land for the Wellington - New Plymouth Railway (Wellington - Tawa Flat Deviation).

FIRST SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken :—

A. R. P. Being Portion of

0 0 2·17 Section 3A, Paparangi Settlement, and being Part Section 19; coloured sepia.

1 0 11·3 Section 22, Paparangi Settlement, and being part Section 19; edged blue.

4 1 3·0 Ditto ; edged blue.

3 0 26·2 ,, edged yellow.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

Piece of land of which the surface and portion of the subsoil is taken for railway : 37·5 perches.

Being portion of Section 22, Paparangi Settlement, and being part Section 19; coloured yellow.

All situated in Block XII, Belmont Survey District (Porirua R.D.). (S.O. 2658.)

All in the Wellington Land District ; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 81265, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand. and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 13th day of March, 1931.

Allocating to the Purposes of a Road Land in Block I, Clyde Survey District, taken for a Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land which is described in the Schedule hereto (and which was taken for a portion of the East Coast Main Trunk Railway, Napier northwards, and which is no longer required for such purpose) shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a road, and that such road shall be maintained by the Wairoa County Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land dealt with : 16 perches.

Being portion of railway land.

Situated in Block I, Clyde Survey District (Hawke's Bay R.D.). (S.O. 908, green.)

In the Hawke's Bay Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 80551, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of March, 1931.

Altering the Boundaries of the Auckland Transport District under the Auckland Transport Board Act, 1928.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by section three of the Auckland Transport Board Act, 1928, and of all other powers in this behalf enabling me, and acting with the approval of the Minister of Transport and the Manukau County Council, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that, as from the date of the publication of this Proclamation in the Gazette, the boundaries of the Auckland Transport District constituted by the said Act shall be altered by including therein the Mangere Riding of the Manukau County as at present constituted.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 12th day of March, 1931.

Defining the Middle-line of a Road in Blocks I, V, IX, X, XIV, and XV, Tarawera Survey District, and Block III, Paeroa Survey District—viz., Portion of the Rotorua-Taupo Road.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of a road desired to be constructed over Blocks I, V, IX, X, XIV, and XV, Tarawera Survey District, and Block III, Paeroa Survey District—viz., portion of the Rotorua-Taupo Road—shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

COMMENCING at a point at the junction of Fenton Street and the Rotorua-Taupo Main Road, in the Borough of Rotorua, and proceeding thence in a south-easterly direction generally for a distance of approximately 15 miles, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c., viz : Portions of Section 10 (Arikikapakapa Recreation Reserve Extension) and part Quarry Reserve, Borough of Rotorua, Block I, Tarawera Survey District ; parts Quarry Reserve and State Forest Reserve, Waitaruna 4B, and Te Kotuku-o-Tama-whakaara A Blocks and part Te Peka Block, Block V, Tarawera Survey District ; parts Te Peka Block State Forest Reserve and Crown land, Block IX, Tarawera Survey District ; Section 3 (Roadman's paddock), parts Crown land and State Forest Reserve, Rotomahana-Parekarangi Blocks No. 2A, northern portion No. 2E No. 2 (Crown land), No. 2C, No. 2E No. 1, and part southern portion No. 2E No. 2 (Crown land), Block X, Tarawera Survey District ; Rotomahana-Pare-karangi Blocks, part southern portion No. 2E No. 2 (Crown land), No. 2E No. 3, No. 2E No. 4, Gravel-pit Reserve, No. 2E No. 5, and part Run No. 79, Block XIV, Tarawera Survey District ; Section 8, part Run No. 79, Rotomahana-Pare-karangi Blocks, Parts 6A, Section 2 No. 1B and 6P, Section 2B, Block XV, Tarawera Survey District ; and Rotomahana-Parekarangi Block, part 6P Section 2B, Block III, Paeroa Survey District ; and terminating at a point, marked 15 miles, opposite the said Rotomahana-Parekarangi 6P, Section 2B Block, Block III, Paeroa Survey District ; including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses : all in the Auckland Land District. As the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 79103 (4 sheets), deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 13th day of March, 1931.
