Land set apart as Provisional State Forest declared to be subject

A PROCLAMATION.

I N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by section twenty of the Forests
Act, 1921-22, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Lands, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being Provisional State Forest Reserve No. 1736, set apart by Proclamation dated the seventh day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, and gazetted on the ninth day of that month, is required for settlement purposes; and, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such land shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest, and shall become subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area of national-endowment land in the Westland Land District, being Provisional State Forest Reserve No. 1736, containing 155 acres, more or less, being parts of Sections 2745 and 2747, situated in Block II, Brunner Survey District, held under Warden's grant No. 169, and bounded as follows : Commencing at Peg VI on the eastern side of the Grey-Kotuku Road, and proceeding along that roadside on a bearing of 317° 28' for 103-5 links; thence running as follows : 32° 30' for 221-8 links; 60° for 470-4 links; 82° 30' for 714-8 links; 38° 45' for 980-6 links; 61° for 679-1 links; 314° 30' for 902 links; 290° 45' for 1933 links; 316° for 1351 links; 5° 30' for 833 links; 18° 30' for 419 links; 68° 30' for 1255 links; 69° for 1106 links; 66° 45' for 483 links; 75° for 843 links; 137° for 606 links; 197° for 1020 links; 183° for 1254 links; 198° for 618 links; 184° 30' for 344 links; 96° 30' for 591 links; 94° 45' for 460 links; 137° 30' for 1456 links; 164° 15' for 517 links; 213° 15' for 768 links; 293° 30' for 617 links; 291° for 1159 links; 334° for 224 links; 241° for 664-1. links; 218° 45' for 1021-4. links; 262° 30' for 755-2 links; 240° for 381-6 links; 212° 30' for 259-8 links; to the eastern side of the Grey-Kotuku Road; and then along the eastern side of the said road on a bearing of 334° 06' for 117-4 links, to the point of commencement. As

the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. XI/7/421, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 12th day of March, 1931.

A PROCLAMATION.

I N pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the road in Piopiotea West Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

ROAD CLOSED.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed : 14-26 perches. Adjoining Section 6.

Situated in Block III, Piopiotea West Survey District. In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/1780, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2431, and thereon coloured white.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of March, 1931.
