License to take or kill Imported Game (Deer).
, of , having this day paid the sum of £1, is hereby authorized to take or kill red-deer stags and hinds within those portions of the Wellington Acclimatization District described in the endorsement hereon, from the 2nd day of March, 1931, to the 30th day of April, 1931 (both days inclusive), subject to the provisions of the Animals Protection and Game Act, 1921–22, and all regulations and notifications affecting red-deer stags and hinds made thereunder and in force within the said district.
This license does not authorize the holder thereof to take or kill red-deer stags or hinds on lands actually and exclusively used by any registered acclimatization society for acclimatization purposes, or on any sanctuary or public domain, nor does it authorize the holder thereof to enter any State forest for the purpose of taking or killing red-deer stags and hinds without the express written consent of the Conservator of Forests, Palmerston North, first having been obtained.

Mangarakai, Puketoi Block : All that area in the Wellington Land District bounded by a line commencing at Martin-borough; thence in an easterly direction along the Martin-borough-Hinakura Road to Hinakura; thence in an easterly direction along the north bank of the Pahaoa River to the sea-coast; thence in a northerly direction to the Waimata Stream; thence in a westerly direction along the boundary of the Wellington Provincial District to the Ngaparuru Bridge, crossing the Manawatu River; thence following the railway-line south to Opake; thence following the east side of the Ruamahunga River to Martinborough, the point of commencement.

Disestablishment of Technical School Board.
Education Department, Wellington, 13th February, 1931.
I N accordance with the provisions of the Education Act, 1914, and with the powers thereunder, I, Harry Atmore, Minister of Education, do hereby, on the application of the Canterbury Education Board, direct that from the 1st day of January, 1931, the immediate control of the Waimate Technical School shall pass from the Board of Managers to the Canterbury Education Board; and from the aforesaid 1st day of January such Board of Managers shall be and shall be deemed to be dissolved, and that all their property, rights, and liabilities shall thereupon vest in and become the property, rights, and liabilities of the said Education Board.

Regulations as to Drainage and Plumbing under the Health Act, 1920, applied to Borough of Eastbourne.—(H. H. 106.)

Wellington, 4th February, 1931.
WHEREAS by an Order in Council made on the 3rd day of September, 1923, and gazetted on the 6th day of the same month, regulations (to be cited as “The Drainage and Plumbing Regulations”) were made under the Health Act, 1920, prescribing the conditions to be observed in the construction of approved drains, septic tanks, sanitary conveniences, and sanitary appliances :
And whereas by the said regulations it was provided that the same were suspended as provided in the said Act :
And whereas by section 133 of the said Act it is enacted that the operation of any such regulation may, if so provided therein, be wholly suspended until they are applied by the Minister by notice in the Gazette to any part of New Zealand :
Now, therefore, I, Arthur John Stallworthy, Minister of Health, in exercise of the power and authority given by the said regulations and by section 133 of the said Act, do hereby apply the said regulations to the Borough of Eastbourne, and do hereby declare that this notice shall take effect on the 1st day of March, 1931.

Notice of Intention to take Land in Block XIV, Opuawhanga Survey District.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to execute a certain public work—to wit, the construction of a road—and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the Post-office at Tutukaka, and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.
