Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby prohibit,
for the period of one year from the date of this Order in Council,
all alienation of the Native lands specified in the Schedule
hereto other than alienation in favour of the Crown.

Special Provision with respect to Red Deer in Portions of Wellington Acclimatization District.

BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.

IN pursuance of the powers vested in me by the Animals Protection and Game Act, 1921-22 (hereinafter referred to as "the said Act"), I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that red deer shall be deemed to be included in the Second Schedule of the Animals Protection and Game Act, 1921-22, with respect to those portions of the Wellington Acclimatization District described in the Schedule hereto:
And I do hereby further declare that this Warrant shall come into force on the second day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, and shall expire on the thirtieth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, and that from and after the last-mentioned date red deer shall cease to be included in the Second Schedule of the said Act with respect to such areas.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District bounded by a line commencing from Pahautanui; thence in a northerly direction on the main road to Paekakariki; thence following the railway-line to the bridge crossing the Manawatu River at Longburn; thence following the south-east bank of the Manawatu River to the west side of the Manawatu Gorge; thence following the south bank of the Manawatu River to Ngaparuru Bridge; thence following the Woodville-Welling-ton railway-line south to Featherston; thence following the main highway from Featherston to Trentham; thence following the Moonshine Road to Pahautanui, the point of commencement.
Mangarakai, Puketoic Block: All that area in the Wellington Land District bounded by a line commencing at Martinborough; thence in an easterly direction along the Martinborough-Hinakura Road to Hinakura; thence in an easterly direction along the north bank of the Pahaoa River to the sea-coast; thence in a northerly direction to the Waimata Stream; thence in a westerly direction along the boundary of the Wellington Provincial District to the Ngaparuru Bridge, crossing the Manawatu River; thence following the railway-line south to Opake; thence following the east side of the Ruamahunga River to Martinborough, the point of commencement.
Ruahine, Kaimanawa Block: All that area in the Wellington Land District bounded by a line commencing at Mangaweka following the Main Trunk Railway line north to Taihape; thence following the Wellington Acclimatization District boundary east; then north to the most northern portion, then west along the district boundary to the Rangi-tikei River; thence following the district boundary south to the summit of the Ruahine Range; thence south along the summit of the Ruahine Range to the boundary of the Wellington and Fielding Acclimatization Districts; thence following the Paurangahaki Stream to its junction with the Kawhautau River; thence following the Kawhautau River to its junction with the Rangitikei River; thence following the Rangitikei River to Mangaweka, the point of commencement.

Notifying Lands in Wellington Land District for Sale by Public Auction.

BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section one hundred and thirty-two of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Friday, the twenty-seventh day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, as the time at which the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction for cash, and I do hereby fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said Schedule hereto.

Town of Taupahi Extension No. 1.

These two extensions of the Township of Taupahi, comprising thirty-six camping-sites, are situated in close proximity to the bridge over the Tongariro River, and front the National Park-Taupo Highway. They are distant about two miles from Lake Taupo, three miles from Town of Tokaanu, and within easy walking distance of some of the finest trout-fishing waters of the Dominion.
The sections are offered with the view of meeting an increasing demand for camping-sites in the heart of New Zealand's most popular tourist, scenic, and fishing resort.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 11th day of February, 1931.
