ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 16th day February, 1931.

His Excellency The Governor-General in Council.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all
other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of
New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth
hereby consent to the land described in the Schedule hereto being taken for the purposes of a pleasure or recreation
ground.

The Western Side of Portion of a Street in the Borough of Palmerston exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 16th day of February, 1931.
Present :
His Excellency The Governor-General in Council.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in
anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following
resolution passed by the Palmerston Borough Council on the eighth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirty,
viz. :-
"That the Palmerston Borough Council hereby resolves
that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight
of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to that
portion of the western side of the land dedicated by His
Majesty the King to the Palmerston Borough Council as a
public street, where the same abuts on part Lot 6, plan
No. 978, Town of Palmerston ";
such portion of street being described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
The western side of all that portion of street, situated in the Otago Land District, Borough of Palmerston, fronting part
Lot 6, L.T.P. 978. As the said portion of street is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 81011,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

The Northern Side of Portion of Faraday Street Extension, in the Borough of Napier, exempted from the Provisions of
Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 16th day of February, 1931.
Present :
His Excellency The Governor-General in Council.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in
anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following
resolution passed by the Napier Borough Council on the nineteenth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-
one, viz. :-
"That the Council, being the local authority having
control of the streets in the Borough of Napier, hereby
declares that the provisions of section one hundred and
twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not
apply to that portion of the street in the Borough of Napier
known as Faraday Street Extension, shown edged pink on
the plan now produced to the Council, which portion of
street abuts on Lot 22 of Suburban Section 40, Napier ";
such portion of street being described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
The northern side of all that portion of street situated in the Hawke's Bay Land District, Borough of Napier, known as
Faraday Street Extension, fronting Lot 22 of Suburban
Section 40. As the same is more particularly delineated on
the plan marked P.W.D. 80986, deposited in the office of the
Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged
pink.
