General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, doth hereby appoint

The Christchurch City Council
to be the Christchurch City and Suburban Domain Board,
having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto;
and doth hereby appoint Monday, the second day of February,
one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, at eight
o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the City Council Office,
Christchurch, as the place where, the first meeting of the
Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

CHRISTCHURCH CITY AND SUBURBAN DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing
by admeasurement 11 acres 0 roods 32·2 perches, more or less,
being Lots 165 and 166 of deposit plan 1983, and parts Lots 2,
3, 4, 5, and 6 of deposit plan 2495, situated in the City of
Christchurch, and bounded as follows: Towards the north
by Lots 140-146 of deposit plan 1696, and Lots 1, 2, 3, and 10
of deposit plan 9411, 1173·7 links; towards the east by
Eastern Terrace, along the left bank of the Heathcote River;
towards the south by part Lot 10 of deposit plan 2623, 122·5
links; towards the west by other part Lot 6 of deposit plan
2495 above mentioned, 106·6 links; again towards the south
by other parts Lots 5 and 6 of deposit plan 2495, 186·4 links;
again towards the east by other part Lot 5 of deposit plan 2495,
106·6 links; again towards the south by Lots 1-8, and part
Lot 9 of deposit plan 2623 above mentioned, 758·1 links;
again towards the west by Lots 167 and 168 of deposit plan
1983 above mentioned, 200 links; again towards the south by
Lot 167 of deposit plan 1983, 450 links; again towards the
west by Norwood Street, 200 links; again towards the north
by Lot 1 of deposit plan 2495 above mentioned, 450 links;
and again towards the west by Lot 1 of deposit plan 2495
and Lots 161-164 of deposit plan 1983 above mentioned,
500 links. As the same is more particularly delineated on
the plan marked L. and S. 1/310, deposited in the Head Office,
Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon
bordered red.

Also all that area in the Canterbury Land District, con-
taining by admeasurement 183 acres 3 roods 9 perches, more
or less, and being part Reserve No. 161, situated in Block III,
Halswell Survey District, and bounded northward by Rural
Sections Nos. 2147 and 36834, 4491·7 links; eastward by
Rural Section No. 20922, 5263·3 links; southward by Rural
Sections Nos. 11227 and 11170, 4049·6 links; and westward
by Dyers Pass Road, 7667 links: be all the aforesaid linkages
a little more or less. Save and excepting thereout two
road-lines one chain wide which are included within the
above-described boundaries. As the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/310A, deposited
in Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Welling-
ton, and thereon bordered red.

Also all that area in the Canterbury Land District, contain-
ing by admeasurement 7 acres, more or less, being part of
Rural Section 182, situated in the City of Christchurch, and
bounded as follows: Towards the east generally by Lots 8
and 9 of deposit plan 3152 and Lot 1 of deposit plan 4877, a
total distance of 852·5 links; towards the south by parts of
Lots 2 and 7 of deposit plan 4241, Woodchester Avenue, Lot
14 of deposit plan 8190, and Lot 8 of deposit plan 2782, 871·1
links; towards the west generally by Freeman Street, Lots 1
and 2 of deposit plan 4324, and Lot 34 of deposit plan 2782
above mentioned, a total distance of 845 links; and towards
the north by Lot 33 of deposit plan 2782 and Lots 1, 2, 3, and
4 of deposit plan 3152 above mentioned, 681·2 links. As the
same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.
and S. 1/310, deposited in the Head Office, Department of
Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Also all that area in the Canterbury Land District, contain-
ing by admeasurement 17 acres 2 roods 20 perches, more or
less, being Reserve 3824, situated in the City of Christchurch,
and bounded as follows: Towards the north-east by Domain
Terrace, a total distance of 2097·85 links; towards the south-
east by Lot 6 of deposit plan 3270, 607 links; towards the
south-west by the Heathcote River; and towards the north-
west by part of Rural Section 76, 845·16 links. As the same
is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S.
1/310, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands
and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Katikati
Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 30th day
of January, 1931.
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. G. W. FORBES, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section forty-five of the Public Reserves, Domains, and
National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, doth hereby appoint
Norman Anson Blomquist,
William Henderson,
Noble Johnston,
Fred Kendall,
Rainhold Edmund Robert Lindemann,
Arthur Edward Putt, and
Robert Wilson
to be the Katikati Domain Board, having control of the
land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby
appoint Tuesday, the tenth day of February, one thousand
nine hundred and thirty-one, at eight o'clock p.m., as the
time when, and the Public Hall, Katikati, as the place where,
the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT - KATIKATI DOMAIN.

ALLOTMENTS 25 and 26, Parish of Katikati: Area, 185 acres
2 roods.

Also, all that area in the Auckland Land District, in the
Town of Waterford, containing by admeasurement 8 acres
1 rood 26·2 perches, more or less, being Lots 15, 16, 17, 18,
19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42,
176, 177, 178, and 179 on D.P. 67, and Lot 1 on D.P. 15488,
being portions of Allotment 52, Tahawai Parish, together with
Allotments 52B and 52C, Tahawai Parish, formerly parts of
Church Street and Fourth Avenue, closed by Proclamation
published in Gazette, No. 73, of the 23rd August, 1906, page
2224, and bounded as follows: Towards the north-east by
Third Avenue, 875 links; towards the south-east by Lots 37
and 30 on plan 67, deposited in the office of the District
Land Registrar at Auckland, and Major Street, 900 links;
towards the south-west by Stone Street, Allotments 52A and
part 52, Tahawai Parish, 947·2 links; towards the north-
west by part Allotment 52, Tahawai Parish, 400 links; to-
wards the north-east, north-west, and south-west by Fourth
Avenue, 222·2, 100, and 250 links; and again towards the

the District Land Registrar at Auckland, 400 links: Be all
