A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in Aparima Hundred described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
LAND PROCLAIMED AS A ROAD.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road: 1 acre 0 roods 24·9 perches.
Being portion of Section 23; coloured red.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
ROAD CLOSED.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 1 acre 0 roods 7·4 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Sections 23 and 24; coloured green.
All situated in Block III, Aparima Hundred (Southland R.D.). (S.O. R. 622.)
All in the Southland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 80962, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 11th day of February, 1931.

Declaring that certain Works to alter or divert the Waiotu Stream, in the Whangarei County, have been executed for the Safety and proper Maintenance of the Whangarei-Kawakawa Main Highway.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section two hundred and seven of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the works executed on the land described in the Schedule hereto to alter or divert the Waiotu Stream have been executed for the safety and proper maintenance of the Whangarei-Kawakawa Main Highway, and such works shall for all purposes be taken and deemed to have been executed under the authority of the Public Works Act, 1928.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land affected: 1 rood 18 perches.
Being portion of Puhipuhi 4B South No. 1 Block.
Situated in Block XI, Hukerenui Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 25131.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 75936, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of February, 1931.

The Leasehold Interest in Land in the Borough of New Plymouth taken for Post and Telegraph Purposes.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the estate of leasehold in the land described in the Schedule hereto held by the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of New Plymouth from His Majesty the King, for a term of twenty-one years from the first day of October, one thousand nine hundred and ten, such lease being registered in the Land and Deeds Registry Office at New Plymouth, under Number 8459, is hereby taken for post and telegraph purposes; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the thirtieth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land in respect of which the leasehold interest is taken: 3 roods 3·9 perches.
Being Sections 853, 854, and 868, Town of New Plymouth.
Situated in the Borough of New Plymouth.
In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 79881, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged pink.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 3rd day of February, 1931.

Proclaiming Native Land to be vested in His Majesty under Section 368 of the Native Land Act, 1909.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section three hundred and sixty-eight of the Native Land Act, 1909 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), it is provided, inter alia, that the Crown may purchase any Native land in pursuance of a resolution of the assembled owners passed and confirmed in accordance with Part XVIII of the said Act, and on the resolution being adopted by the Native Land Purchase Board it shall become a contract of purchase as between the Crown and all persons who are the owners of the land; and the Governor-General may, by Proclamation, at any time after the contract of purchase has been so made, declare that the land so purchased is vested in His Majesty the King, and it shall vest accordingly and shall become Crown land:
And whereas a resolution was passed by a meeting of assembled owners, and duly confirmed by the Tokerau District Maori Land Board, that the land set out in the Schedule hereto be sold to the Crown:
And whereas the Native Land Purchase Board has adopted such resolution:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by section three hundred and sixty-eight of the said Act, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land set out in the Schedule hereto is vested in His Majesty the King.
SCHEDULE.
ARAPARERA No. 1 Block, Tauhoa and Kaipara Survey Districts: Approximate area, 1,545 acres 2 roods.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 5th day of February, 1931.
