Declaring Crown Land in Hauraki Mining District, Auckland Land District, open for Disposal on Renewable Lease.

BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.
A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section one hundred and fifty-four of the Land Act, 1924, it is enacted that the Governor-General, by Proclamation, may from time to time declare any Crown lands within any mining district to be open for disposal as provided in section one hundred and fifty-three of the said Act:
Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authority conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-fifty-fourth section of the said Act, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be open on Friday, the twentieth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, for disposal as provided in section one hundred and fifty-three of the said Act.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—HAURAKI MINING DISTRICT.—THIRD-CLASS LAND.
Coromandel County.—Coromandel Survey District.
SECTIONS 10 and 11, Block XV: Area, 1,487 acres 1 rood 27 perches. Capital value, £560. Half-yearly rent, £11 4s.
Property, which is suitable for grazing, is situated on the Coromandel–Mercury Bay Main Highway, five miles from the Kaimarama School, approximately ten miles from the Mercury Bay Post-office, stores, saleyards, and dairy factory, by metalled road. The soil is a light clayey loam, resting on sedimentary rock, andesite, and quartz formation. Approximately 500 acres felled and grassed (surface sown), now partly reverted to fern. Foxglove requires attention. Well watered by the Mahakirau Stream and several creeks.
Weighted with £945, for improvements comprising approximately 500 acres bush land, felled and grassed (surface sown); approximately 160 chains fencing; milking-shed (four double bails); shearing-shed and yards. This sum is payable either in cash or by a cash deposit of £45; of the balance £200 will be payable over a period of twenty years by half-yearly instalments of principal and interest combined, amounting to £8 0s. 6d., and the remaining £700 will be secured on mortgage for ten years, interest 6 per cent.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 27th day of January, 1931.

Declaring Lands in the Otago Mining District, Otago Land District, open for Lease by Public Auction.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section one hundred and fifty-four of the Land Act, 1924, it is enacted that the Governor-General, by Proclamation, may from time to time declare any Crown lands within any mining district not held under lease or license, or for which a lease or license has been cancelled, to be open for disposal as provided in section one hundred and fifty-three of the said Act:
Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authority conferred upon me by section one hundred and fifty-four of the said Act, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby appoint Monday, the sixteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, as the time at which the renewable lease of the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be offered by public auction.
SCHEDULE.
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.—FIRST-CLASS LAND.
Maniototo County.—Town of Komako.—Otago Mining District.
RURAL LAND.
SECTIONS 36 and 39: Area, 8 acres 2 roods 1 perch. Upset capital value, £60. Upset half-yearly rent, £1 4s.
Section 37: Area, 8 acres 0 roods 9 perches. Upset capital value, £60. Upset half-yearly rent, £1 4s.
Section 38: Area, 8 acres 3 roods 2 perches. Upset capital value, £65. Upset half-yearly rent, £1 6s.
Sections weighted with the following improvements:—
Sections 36 and 39: Grassing, about 5 acres, £25; plantation, £10; lucerne, about 3½ acres, £17 10s.; fencing, £14 15s.: total, £67 5s.
Section 37: Fencing to value of £6 10s.
Section 38: Fencing to value of £5 12s. 6d.
These amounts must be paid in cash.
Situated about three quarters of a mile from Waipiata Railway-station; good road access. Soil of fair quality, on gravel formation. Fairly well watered. Altitude from about 1,100 ft. to 1,250 ft. above sea-level.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the road in Cloudy Bay Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
ROAD CLOSED.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 1 acre.
Adjoining Section 29.
Situated in Block XVI, Cloudy Bay Survey District.
In the Marlborough Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/1444, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2455, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of February, 1931.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in the Maungataniwha Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
LAND PROCLAIMED AS A ROAD.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road: 4 acres 3 roods 26 perches.
Portion of the land set apart for State forest purposes by Proclamation published in Gazette of the 7th June, 1906, page 1427.
Situated in Block VII, Maungataniwha Survey District. (S.O. plan 25375.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. X/91/5, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2454, and thereon coloured blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of February, 1931.
