Crown Land set apart as a Permanent State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.

SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—AUCKLAND FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.

State Forest No. 150.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 39 acres 0 roods 31 perches, more or less, being parts of Sections 2 and 8, Block VIII, Tairua Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the north and north-east by a river-bank reserve 100 links wide along the Wharekawa River; towards the south-east by Section 3, Block VIII aforesaid, and another part of Section 8 aforesaid; towards the south by the other part of Section 8 aforesaid; towards the north-west by a public road; and again towards the north-east and north-west by Section 1, Block VIII aforesaid. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 23/13 (S.O. plan 25658), deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 3rd day of February, 1931.

Land in the Nelson Land District proclaimed as ceasing to be set apart as National-endowment Land.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section three hundred and two of the Land Act, 1924, as amended by section ten of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1926, it is enacted that on the disposal of any national-endowment land by way of sale, or on the acquisition of the fee-simple of any such land, the Governor-General may by Proclamation declare that such land shall, as from a date to be specified in the Proclamation, cease to be national-endowment land:

And whereas the fee-simple of the land described in the Schedule hereto (being land heretofore held on renewable lease) has been acquired, and it is expedient that the said land should cease to be national-endowment land:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the aforesaid section three hundred and two of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the sixth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, the land described in the Schedule hereto, which was set apart as national-endowment land under the provisions of section two hundred and fifty-eight of the Land Act, 1908, ceased to be national-endowment land.

SCHEDULE.

NELSON LAND DISTRICT.—NATIONAL ENDOWMENT.

PART Section 2, Block I, Steeples Survey District: Area, 46 acres 2 roods 10 perches.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 5th day of February, 1931.
