ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement, 13 acres 2 roods 10 perches, more or less, being part of Rural Section 33045, situated in Block III, Rolleston Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the north-east by another part of Rural Section 33045, 1594·9 links; towards the south by Rural Section 33044 (part of Eyrewell Plantation, Gazette, 1929, page 519), 1785·95 links; and towards the north-west by Rural Sections 33097 and 34287 (part of Eyrewell Plantation aforesaid), 1994·9 links. Placing Part of Waiwakaiho River under Control of New Plymouth Borough Council.—(H.H. 102.)

BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.

WHEREAS by section sixty-two of the Health Act, 1920, it is provided that the Governor-General may, if he thinks fit, in the interests of public health, by notice in the Gazette, place any specified watercourse, stream, lake, or other source of water-supply, or any specified portion thereof, under the control of any local authority for the purpose of preventing the pollution thereof, notwithstanding that it may not be within the district of that local authority or on land belonging to that local authority:

And whereas the New Plymouth Borough Council is desirous of obtaining control of portion of the Waiwakaiho River from which the borough water-supply is drawn, in order more effectually to control sources of pollution of such supply:

Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred on me by section sixty-two of the Health Act, 1920, do by this notice place all those portions of the Waiwakaiho River and all tributaries of that river from the intake of the New Plymouth Borough water-supply to the respective sources of that river and its tributaries under the control of the New Plymouth Borough Council for the purpose of preventing the pollution thereof.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 15th day of December, 1930.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in me by section fifty-five of the Cemeteries Act, 1908, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint

The Papakura Town Board

to be trustees of the additional portion of the Papakura Public Cemetery, as described in the Schedule hereto, and to have the control and management of the said cemetery.
