FRANKLIN COUNTY COUNCIL.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.

In the matter of the Counties Act, 1920, and in the matter of the Public Works Act, 1928.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Franklin County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work—namely, the construction of a road within the County of Franklin—and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken; and notice is hereby given that plans of the lands so required to be taken are deposited in the Public Office of the Clerk to the said Council, situated in Roulston Street, Pukekohe, and are open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said work or by the taking of such lands who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands, must state their objections in writing, and send the same, within forty days from the 20th day of January, 1930, being the date of the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the County Office, Roulston Street, Pukekohe.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter of W. H. HAZARD, LIMITED.

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders of W. H. HAZARD, LIMITED, held on Monday, the 3rd February, 1930, the following resolution was passed:

"That it has been proved to the satisfaction of the company that it cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same accordingly, and that the company be wound up voluntarily, and that BERTIE WILLIAM BEAUMONT, Public Accountant, of 16–17 York Chambers, Victoria Street East, Auckland, be and is hereby appointed the Liquidator of the company for the purposes of the winding-up.

NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION.

TAKE notice that the Partnership hitherto subsisting between my wife, KATHLEEN MISSEN and myself (ERNEST ALFRED MISSEN) in the business of Confectioners, at Hamilton, has been dissolved by mutual consent as from this date.

The business will in future be carried on at the premises hitherto occupied by the late partners in the Theatre Royal at Hamilton, by the said Kathleen Missen, who will collect all accounts due to and discharge all liabilities of the late firm.
