Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Huntly Athletic Park Domain.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 3rd day of February, 1930.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-eight of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

The Huntly Town Board

to be the Huntly Athletic Park Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Tuesday, the eighteenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, at seven-thirty o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Town Board Office, Huntly, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.


SCHEDULE.

HUNTLY ATHLETIC PARK DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 12 acres 1 rood 4 perches, more or less, being Lot 85 on plan No. 4860, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, and parts Allotments 1 and 50, Taupiri Parish, situated in Block XI, Rangiriri Survey District; bounded towards the north by part Allotment 1 and part Allotment 50, Taupiri Parish, 467·5 links; towards the east generally by Hakanoa Lake and Crown land, 1634·0 links; towards the south by part Allotment 51, Taupiri Parish, 28·3 links; towards the west by Lot 1 on plan No. 14855, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar, at Auckland, 200·5 links; again towards the south by Lot 1 on plan 14855 aforesaid, 571·43 links; again towards the west by part Allotment 1, Taupiri Parish, 239·4 links; again towards the south by part Allotment 1, Taupiri Parish, and Lot 84 on plan No. 4860, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, 517·5 and 177·68 links; again towards the west by Hakanoa Street, 100·0 links; towards the north by Lot 86 on the plan 4860 aforesaid, and part Allotment 1, Taupiri Parish, 175·0 and 520·0 links; and again towards the west by part Allotment 1, Taupiri Parish, 1690·8 links: be all the aforesaid linkages a little more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/667A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. Exempting certain Native Land from Rates.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 3rd day of February, 1930.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS under the provisions of section one hundred and four of the Rating Act, 1925, and as therein mentioned, the Governor-General may from time to time, for the reasons therein specified, exempt any Native land liable to rates from all or any part of such rates:

And whereas it is desirable that such power should be exercised in respect of the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto:

Now, therefore, in pursuance of the said Act and of every other power thereunto him enabling, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby exempt the Native land named in the Schedule hereto from all rates made or levied by any local authority under the provisions of the Rating Act, 1925.


SCHEDULE.

SECTION 3, Block X, Tautini Native Township: Area, 5 acres 0 roods 22 perches, Block VIII, Tokomaru Survey District, Waiapu County.

Extending Time for holding Election of Trustees for Hokio Drainage District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 3rd day of February, 1930.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section ten of the Land Drainage Act, 1908, it is provided that on the first Monday in the month of November in the year following the year in which the first trustees for any drainage district are elected, and on the same day in each succeeding third year thereafter, an election of trustees for each district shall be held:

And whereas an election of trustees for the Hokio Drainage District should have been held on the fourth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine:

And whereas it is expedient to extend the time for holding such election of trustees for the Hokio Drainage District:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by section twenty-two of the Land Drainage Amendment Act, 1922, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby extend the time for holding the aforesaid election of trustees for the Hokio Drainage District; and doth hereby order and declare that in the aforesaid drainage district the said election shall be held and take place on Tuesday, the twenty-fifth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty.
