The New Zealand Honey Control Board.
I, ROBERT WILLIAMSON ATKINSON, Returning Officer for the purposes of the Honey-export Control Act, 1924, and the regulations made thereunder, hereby declare the result of the poll taken on Thursday, 11th of December, 1930, for the election of a producers’ representative on the New Zealand Honey Control Board to be as follows :—

Tenders for Sole Right of placing Automatic Personal Weighing-machines on Post Office Property throughout New Zealand.
ALTERNATIVE tenders—
(1) Upon a rental basis, and
(2) Upon a commission basis,
will be received by the Secretary, General Post Office, Wellington, up to noon on the 31st January, 1931, for the sole right of placing automatic personal weighing-machines on post-office property throughout the Dominion for a period of three years from the 1st April, 1931.
Conditions of tendering may be obtained from the Chief Postmasters, Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin, and Wellington, and from the Secretary, General Post Office, Wellington.

Alteration in Low Level Light.
Preliminary Notice : No. 50 of 1930 is hereby cancelled.
Date of Alteration : 22nd December, 1930.
Position : Lat. 41° 21·6′ S., long. 174° 50·9′ E. (approx.).
Chart 1423.
Abridged Description : Gp. Fl. (3) W.R. ev. 12 sec., 60 ft., 15 m. (U).
Alteration : On the above date the character of the light will be altered from fixed white with red sectors to group flashing white with red sectors having three flashes every twelve seconds, thus : Flash, 1 sec. ; eclipse, 1·5 sec. ; flash, 1 sec. ; eclipse, 1·5 sec. ; flash, 2 sec. ; eclipse, 5 sec.
Remarks : The elevation of the light will be increased from 32 ft. (9ᵐ8) to 60 ft. (18ᵐ3) and the visibility to 15 miles.
Note : The sectors remain unaltered.
Structure : Steel tower which is to be incased in concrete.
