IT is hereby notified that His Excellency the Governor-General has, in pursuance of the provisions of the Fisheries Act, 1908, and of the Official Appointments and Documents Act, 1919, appointed
Frederick Greenaway, of Ashburton, and
David McDougall, of Waterton,
to be officers for the purposes of Part II of the first-mentioned Act, in respect of the Ashburton Acclimatization District.

ARTHUR BERNARD JAMES, Esquire, of Newcastle, New South Wales, a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales, has this day been appointed by the Honourable Sir Michael Myers, K.C.M.G., Chief Justice of New Zealand, a Commissioner of the Supreme Court of New Zealand in New South Wales, under the 47th section of the Judicature Act, 1908, for the purpose of administering and taking all such oaths, affidavits, and affirmations as in the said section mentioned.

Appointment of Deputy District Public Trustee.
NOTICE is hereby given that, in pursuance of the power and authority vested in me by section three of the Public Trust Office Amendment Act, 1921–22, I, the Public Trustee of the Dominion of New Zealand, have appointed Ernest Slater Brialey, of the Public Trust Office, Napier, to be Deputy of the District Public Trustee, Napier, during the absence of such District Public Trustee from his headquarters, and all previous appointments in this behalf are hereby revoked.

NOTICE is hereby given that, in pursuance of the power and authority vested in me by section three of the Public Trust Office Amendment Act, 1921–22, I, the Public Trustee of the Dominion of New Zealand, have appointed Heaton Ludlow William von Sturmer, of the Public Trust Office, Stratford, to be Deputy of the District Public Trustee, Stratford, during the absence of such District Public Trustee from his headquarters, and all previous appointments in this behalf are hereby revoked.

to be Clerk of the Magistrates’ Courts at Te Kuiti and Otorohanga for the purposes of the Magistrates’ Courts Act, 1928, and the Registrar of Electors and Returning Officer for the Electoral District of Waitomo for the purposes of the Electoral Act, 1927, as from the 5th day of December, 1930.
Leslie Harold Davis, M.Sc.,
to be an Analyst under the Sale of Food and Drugs Act, 1908, as from the 1st day of December, 1930.
Samuel Eoin Percy,
to be Registrar of Marriages and Registrar of Births and Deaths for the District of Taihape, and Registrar of Births and Deaths of Maoris at Taihape, as from the 4th day of December, 1930.
Albert John Bennetts
to be Assistant Clerk of the Magistrates’ Court at Christchurch for the purposes of section 8 of the Magistrates’ Courts Amendment Act, 1922, and Clerk of the Licensing Committee for the District of Lyttelton as from the 10th day of December, 1930.
Arthur Harry Cutler
to be Clerk of the Magistrates’ Court at Masterton for the purposes of the Magistrates’ Courts Act, 1928, Registrar of the Supreme Court of New Zealand at Masterton, and Sheriff for the District of Wairarapa for the purposes of the Judicature Act, 1908, Local Patent Officer at Masterton for the purposes of section 15 of the Patents, Designs, and Trade-marks Act, 1921–22, Clerk of the Licensing Committee for the District of Wairarapa, and Registrar of Marriages and Registrar of Births and Deaths for the District of Masterton, and Registrar of Births and Deaths of Maoris at Masterton, as from the 10th day of December, 1930.
