And whereas the said Tamaki Road District has become
merged in the City of Auckland, and the said One Tree Hill
Road District has been constituted a borough, and it is
expedient to make provision for the representation on the
Auckland Harbour Board of the said combined district as
altered :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the
powers and authorities conferred upon him by sections twenty-
two and thirty-one of the Harbours Act, 1923, and of all
other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf,
and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and
declare that one member of the Auckland Harbour Board
shall be elected by the electors of the Boroughs of Newmarket,
Onehunga, and One Tree Hill, the Ellerslie Town District,
and the Mount Wellington and Panmure Road Districts, in
lieu of one member by the electors of the Boroughs of New-
market and Onehunga, the Ellerslie Town District, and the
Mount Wellington, One Tree Hill, Panmure, and Tamaki
Road Districts ; and doth hereby select and appoint the
Onehunga Borough Council to be the principal authority for
the purpose of such elections by the electors of the combined
district as hereby altered.

Certain Classes of Persons to be exempt from Unemployment
Levy.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 12th day of
December, 1930.
Present :
His EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN exercise of the powers conferred on him by the
Unemployment Act, 1930, on grounds of public interest,
His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby,
to the extent hereinafter appearing, and until further pro-
vision in that behalf shall be made by subsequent Order in
Council, declare the following class of persons to be wholly
exempt from payment of the unemployment levy, namely :-
(1) Every person who, having served in the War of 1914-19
as a member of any of His Majesty's Naval, Military, or
Air Forces raised in any part of the British Dominions, is
for the time being in receipt of a pension granted by the
Government of any British jurisdiction in respect of his total
disablement through such service :
And doth hereby, to the extent hereinafter appearing, and
until further provision in that behalf shall be made by subse-
quent Order in Council, exempt from the payment of any
quarterly instalment of levy under the said Act the following
persons and classes of persons :-
(2) Every person who on the due date of such quarterly
instalment is sixty-five years of age or over, and whose
income from all sources during the three months immediately
preceding such due date has not exceeded an average sum of
£2 a week ; and who has not obtained the consent of the
Unemployment Board to his exclusion from the exemption
hereby created:
Provided that any person seeking the consent of the Board
to such exclusion shall make application in writing to the
Board in that behalf setting out the grounds thereof:
Provided also that the consent of the Board may at any
time be withdrawn after reasonable notice to the person
affected:
Provided also that the person affected may at any time
by notice in writing to the Board elect, notwithstanding any
such consent, to claim the benefit of the exemption hereby
created.
(3) Every person who, on the due date of such quarterly
instalment, and for at least the whole of the month on the
first day of which such instalment is due is, through any
physical or mental disability, unable regularly to follow any
occupation or calling for a livelihood, and whose income
from all sources during the three months immediately preceding
such due date has not exceeded an average sum of £2 per
week.
(4) Every person who is for the time being a member of a
religious body whose rules forbid the possession by its members
of any personal property except clothing and similar personal
effects.
(5) Every person who on the due date of such quarterly
instalment and during the whole of the month immediately
preceding such due date has been registered as unemployed
at an office of the Department of Labour, and has not received
any income.
(6) Every person in respect of whom the Unemployment
Board is satisfied by resolution passed within six weeks prior
to the due date of such quarterly instalment that, by reason
of sickness or poverty, it would produce undue hardship
upon such person or his dependants to require such person
to pay the said instalment.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other
powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency
the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Wanganui
County Council stopping the portions of road described in the
Schedule hereto.

Declaring Portion of Road in Block III, Rangiriri Survey
District, to be a Government Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 12th day of
December, 1930.
Present :
His EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the
Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in any-
wise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of
road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the
date of this Order in Council, become a Government road.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road declared to be a
Government road : 2 roods 15 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Allotment 222, Whangamarino
Parish.
Situated in Block III, Rangiriri Survey District (Auckland
R.D.). (S.O. 25420.)
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 80031,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
