IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter of Cockle Bay Estate Company, Limited.

NOTICE is hereby given that the following extraordinary resolution was passed at an extraordinary meeting of shareholders of Cockle Bay Estate Company, Limited, duly convened, held at the registered office of the company, 83 Queen Street, Auckland, on the eighteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, and confirmed as a special resolution at an extraordinary general meeting of the company, duly convened, held at the same place on the third day of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirty.

“ That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that Herbert Benjamin Harper, of Auckland, Company Secretary, be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.”

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership formerly subsisting at Papakura between Horace Tom Markwick, Willoughby Gordon Markwick, and William Markwick, carrying on business as Builders and Contractors under the name or style of “Markwick Brothers,” has been dissolved as from the 30th day of November, 1927. Any claims which may still be outstanding should be forwarded at once to Messrs. Wilkinson and Campbell, Public Accountants, Dilworth Building, Queen Street, Auckland.

NOTICE is hereby given that on Wednesday, the 15th day of November, 1930, the following special resolution was passed at an extraordinary meeting of shareholders in the Dominion Trust Company of New Zealand, Limited:—

“ That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that John Owen Jameson be appointed Liquidator.”

FRANKLIN COUNTY COUNCIL.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.

In the matter of the Counties Act, 1920, and in the matter of the Public Works Act, 1928.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Franklin County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work—namely, the construction of a road within the County of Franklin—and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken: And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the Public Office of the Clerk to the said Council, situated in Roulston Street, Pukekohe, and is open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands, must state their objections in writing, and send the same, within forty days from the 3rd day of December, 1930, being the date of the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the County Office, Roulston Street, Pukekohe.

NOTICE is hereby given that under section 220 (b) of the Companies Act, 1908, the above-named company, on the 17th November, 1930, in general meeting, passed the following special resolution, and confirmed that resolution at a subsequent general meeting held on the 1st December, 1930:—

“ That, having sold its undertaking and business to Dominion Breweries, Limited, the company be wound up voluntarily, and that Leonard Knight, of Auckland, be and is hereby appointed Liquidator.

“ That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily; and that William Goss, of No. 79, Mansfield Avenue, Christchurch, Timber-merchant, be appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up.”
