under the said three-hundred-and-fifty-ninth section may, at the expiration of one month, but not later than six months, after the publication in the Gazette of notice of such temporary reservation, be permanently reserved, and that notice of such permanent reservation shall be published in the Gazette.

And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto was, by Warrant dated the twenty-fifth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, and published in Gazette of the twenty-eighth day of that month, temporarily reserved under the authority of the said Act as an addition to a site for a public school:

Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Act, do hereby permanently reserve the land described in the Schedule hereto as an addition to a site for a public school for which the said land was so temporarily reserved as aforesaid.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre, more or less, being part Section 101, Omata District, Survey Office Plan 6910, Block VIII, Paritutu Survey District: Bounded towards the north-east by Hurford Road, 500 links; towards the south-east by other part Section 101, Omata District, 200 links; towards the south-west by the said other part Section 101, 500·15 links; and towards the north-west by the said other part Section 101, 199·95 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 26/10687, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered pink.

Land permanently reserved in the Wellington Land District for a Site for a Public School (Ngaumu).

BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-fifty-ninth section of the Land Act, 1924, it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time set apart temporarily as reserves, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:

And whereas by the three-hundred-and-sixtieth section of the said Act it is provided that land temporarily reserved under the said three-hundred-and-fifty-ninth section may, at the expiration of one month, but not later than six months, after the publication in the Gazette of notice of such temporary reservation, be permanently reserved, and that notice of such permanent reservation shall be published in the Gazette:

And whereas by the seventy-first section of the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, it is further provided that the Governor-General may from time to time, as he thinks fit, set aside reserves for any specified public purpose out of lands acquired under the last-mentioned Act, provided that no land so acquired shall be set aside for endowments:

And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto was, by Warrant dated the twenty-seventh day of September, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, and published in Gazette of the second day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, temporarily reserved under the authority of the said Acts for a site for a public school.

Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Acts do hereby permanently reserve the land described in the Schedule hereto for a site for a public school for which the said land was so temporarily reserved as aforesaid.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 4 acres 3 roods 23·8 perches, more or less, being part Section 15, Poroporo Settlement, situated in Block XV, Otahoua Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the south by Section 1, Poroporo Settlement, Block III, Wainuioru Survey District, 995 links; towards the west and north by other part of the said Section 15, by lines bearing 351° 20′ 30″ and 84° 38′ for distances of 490·2 and 987·5 links respectively; and towards the east by the Ngaumu Road, 500·6 links. As the same is delineated on plan marked 119/15, deposited in the Wellington District Office, Department of Lands and Survey, and thereon bordered green.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 7th day of November, 1930.

Vesting the Control of Scenic Reserves in the Hundalee Scenic Reserves Board.

BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section thirteen of the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand doth hereby vest the control of the reserves described in the Schedule hereto (being lands reserved under the said Act), in trust, for the purposes of scenery preservation, as from the date of this notice until the twenty-sixth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two (unless previously altered or revoked under the said Act), in the Hundalee Scenic Reserves Board, as constituted by notification dated the twenty-sixth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven, and published in Gazette of the first day of December, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven.
