existing between ANTHONY CRISPE COTTELL and
HENRY LOVELL, at Westport, as Barristers and Solicitors,
under the style or firm of 'Cottrell and Lovell,' has been this
day dissolved by mutual consent.
The business will in future be carried on at Westport by
the said Henry Lovell under the firm name of 'Cottrell and
Lovell.'
The said Henry Lovell will pay all future outgoings of the
firm from this date.

STEWART HYDRO-PNEUMATIC EXCAVATOR
COMPANY, LTD.

a subsequent extraordinary general meeting of the said
company, also duly convened and held on the 24th day of
September, 1930, the subjoined special resolution was duly

NOTICE is hereby given that an extraordinary general
meeting of the company will be held at the office of
the Liquidator, 3 Mersey Street, Gore, on Saturday, the 1st day
of November, 1930, at 5 o'clock p.m., for the purpose of having
an account laid before it, and of hearing any explanation which
may be given by the Liquidator, and also of determining by
extraordinary resolution how the books and documents of
the company shall be disposed of.

CENTRAL ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD.
RESOLUTION MAKING AND LEVYING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it
in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926,
the Electric-power Boards Act, 1925, and all other Acts and
powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Central Electric-
power Board hereby resolves as follows :-
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of
interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Central
Electric-power Board's Pukemiro Supplementary Special
Loan of one thousand two hundred pounds (Β£1,200) 1929,
being an additional ten (10) per centum of the loan of twelve
thousand pounds (Β£12,000) authorized to be raised by the
Board under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of
constructing and erecting transmission-lines, transformer-
stations, and all other fittings and appliances for conveying,
transmitting, or distributing electricity in the Pukemiro
Special-rating Area, including the purchase of all necessary
land, materials, plant, and tools, and all payments for labour,
engineer's fees, plans, and supervision, and for compensation
to owners of property in respect of such works, the said
Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of three-
fortieths of a penny (3/40d.) in the pound sterling on the
rateable value (on the basis of capital value) of all rateable
property in the Pukemiro Special-rating area, being the
Pukemiro Riding of the County of Raglan, as defined in the
New Zealand Gazette on the 27th day of May, 1920, and
included in the Central Electric-power District by Proclamation
appearing in the New Zealand Gazette on the 8th day of
January, 1925 ; and that such special rate shall be an annually
