  1. Every nomination shall be made by instrument in writing executed at any time after the publication of the said notice addressed to the Secretary of Labour, and delivered to him or posted to him at his office in Wellington so as to be received by noon on the day appointed for the receipt of nominations, and no nomination shall be entertained if not delivered or received by noon on the day so appointed.

  2. Nominations by organizations of employers engaged in the primary industries of New Zealand shall be made in the form numbered 1 in the Schedule hereto.

  3. Nominations by organizations of employers engaged in the secondary industries of New Zealand shall be made in the form numbered 2 in the Schedule hereto.

  4. Nominations by organizations of workers shall be made in the form numbered 3 in the Schedule hereto.

  5. Nominations by the New Zealand Returned Soldiers’ Association (Incorporated) shall be made in the form numbered 4 in the Schedule hereto.

  6. Every instrument of nomination shall be signed by the president or other presiding member and by the secretary or other person discharging secretarial duties of the organization making the nomination, and shall be signed also by the person nominated in token of his agreement to act if appointed to the Board: Provided that where a person is nominated by more than one organization in the same category it shall be sufficient if he signs one such instrument of nomination.

  7. Every nomination shall be made pursuant to a resolution duly passed at a general meeting of the organization concerned specially called for that purpose.

  8. Every instrument of nomination shall contain a statement to the effect that the person nominated is nominated pursuant to a resolution duly passed as aforesaid, and if such statement be false every person signing the same shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable to a fine not exceeding £5.

  9. Any instrument of nomination which, in the opinion of the Secretary of Labour (whose decision shall be final), does not comply with the requirements of these regulations shall be treated as informal and of no effect.

  10. Every appointment of a member of the Board made by the Governor-General shall be notified by the Minister by writing published in the Gazette.

  11. Every appointment made of a person nominated as aforesaid in substitution for a member who has been appointed pursuant to the said Act for a term of two years shall take effect on the expiration of such term of two years, and every other appointment made of a person nominated as aforesaid shall take effect on the day on which notification of his appointment is published in the Gazette.

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserves for recreation in the Wellington Land District, described in the Schedule hereto, shall be and the same are hereby brought under the operation of, and declared to be subject to, the provisions of Part II of the said Act ; and such
