ESTATE OF ALEXANDER DUTHIE.
In the estate of ALEXANDER DUTHIE, late of Waiuku, Draper (deceased).
NOTICE is hereby given that on Wednesday, the 17th day of September, 1930, an order was made by the Supreme Court of New Zealand, at Auckland, that the above estate be administered under Part IV of the Administration Act, 1908, and that EDWIN HUBERT METGE, of Auckland, Public Accountant, be appointed Administrator.
All persons having claims against the above estate are required to forward proof of debt, properly certified, to the Administrator forthwith. Any proofs not received before the 17th day of November, 1930, are liable to be excluded from the benefits of any distribution.
The first meeting of creditors will be held at the office of the Administrator, 103–107 Yorkshire House, Auckland, on Wednesday, the 15th day of October, 1930, at 2.30 o’clock p.m.

“That EDWIN HUBERT METGE, of Auckland, Public Accountant, be and is hereby appointed Liquidator of the company in place of Alexander Elder Warnock (deceased) in the matter of the voluntary winding-up of the said company.”

NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to the powers vested in the shareholders under section 168 (6) of the Companies Act, 1908, the shareholders have, at a meeting of the above company held at Rotorua on the 4th day of October, 1930, signed as passed the following special resolutions:—
“That GEANY AND CLARK, LIMITED, be wound up voluntarily under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1908.”
“That Mr. JOSEPH HEWITT BUDDLE, of Rotorua, Public Accountant, be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.”

FRANKLIN ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
Loan of £75,000.
THE following resolution was carried at a meeting of the Board held on the 25th June, 1929:—
In pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Franklin Electric-power Board hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on a loan of seventy-five thousand pounds (£75,000), authorized to be raised by the Franklin Electric-power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of supplying and distributing electric energy for the benefit of the constituent districts of Franklin County, Pukekohe Borough, Waiuku Town, and Tuakau Town, within the Franklin Electric-power District, and for such purpose to do all or any of such matters and things which the Board is empowered to do by the Electric-power Boards Act, 1925, and its amendments, the said Franklin Electric-power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-sixth (⅙th) of a penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the constituent districts of Franklin County, Pukekohe Borough, Waiuku Town, and Tuakau Town, within the Franklin Electric-power District, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-six (26) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

TAURANGA BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Tauranga Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of one thousand four hundred and thirty pounds (£1,430), authorized to be raised by the Tauranga Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of completing the formation, grading, metalling, asphalting, bitumenizing, kerbing, and channelling of streets and footpaths for which a loan of £14,300 was authorized in 1925, the said Tauranga Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-ninth of a penny in the pound sterling upon the rateable value (on the basis of unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Tauranga, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of fifteen (15) years from the 8th day of September, 1930, or until the loan is fully paid off.

TAURANGA BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Tauranga Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of four thousand pounds (£4,000), authorized to be raised by the Tauranga Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of constructing the Tauranga–Matamata and Tauranga–Waihi Main Highways, in the Borough of Tauranga, the said Tauranga Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of nineteen sixty-fourths of a penny in the pound sterling upon the rateable property of the Borough of Tauranga, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of fifteen (15) years from the 8th day of September, 1930, or until the loan is fully paid off.

NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us, the undersigned FRANCIS JOHN MESSENGER, HORACE VICTOR SAMUEL GRIFFITHS, and WILLIAM TAYLOR TAYLOR, practising as Architects at New Plymouth under the style or firm-name of “Messenger, Griffiths, and Taylor,” has been dissolved as from the 30th day of September, 1930.
All debts due and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid respectively by Mr. S. E. Nielson, Public Accountant, New Plymouth.
The said Francis John Messenger and William Taylor Taylor will practise in co-partnership under the style or firm-name of “Messenger and Taylor” at the office of the late firm, 61 Devon Street, New Plymouth.
The said Horace Victor Samuel Griffiths will practise in co-partnership with William Newton Stephenson under the name of “Griffiths and Stephenson,” at King’s Buildings, corner Devon and Brougham Streets, New Plymouth.
